I get your point. But when did the SUCK family ever take the time to invite their damadh to the house for a meal or a cup of coffee? What's so wrong with that and getting to know him. The Prof. had a good image of him earlier until Angad decided to play games with both their lives.

On their hollimooon, Adarsh told Prats to stop advising him when she wasn't treating Krishna well. These are the ones that brag about being educated and the norms of society, so where did all that education go now, straight into the fireplace. The brag about being superior bec' of their education.
