We have all seen it and some of us believe that it was love at first sight for Krishna when he saw Prats get off the rickshaw to pick up the puppy and tend to it. Was it the beginning of "puppy love" for Krishna or was it real love at that point?

We have seen Krishna go to any lengths to win over Prats. He saved her from Angad while she was chased down the streets of Allahabad and returned her duppatta to her. He sent her an kite inviting her to have coffee with him. He asked her for a dhur darshan and she gave him one. He gave her a saree and invited her to a restaurant and she came. He even gatecrashed her engagement and went ballistic trying to stop it but didn't. He threatened to hurt Nitin if she went through with the wedding, but didn't. He talked about kidnapping her with his dosts but didn't. He saw those acts as that of a coward.

When SS refused to accept her as his honewali bahu Krishna slit his wrists, refused to eat at home, sulked around driving his family crazy. He argued with is parents that he was not looking for mazaa with her but loved and wanted to marry her. He even agreed to Adarsh's condition and got Komal married to him after a whole lot of drama. He went against anyone and everyone to marry Prats. He told his mother he will continue to do whatever it takes to win Prats over as his wife. His one famous line is "hum sabko chod sakthe hain, lekin Pratigya ko nahi chod sakthe". Even yesterday he told her I didn't marry you to just let you go halfway.

After the wedding and Prats's "nafrat" talks Krishna had some volatile angry/rage filled outbursts. But he kept coming back to her inspite of it. He showed her in his own ways standing up to and praising her to his family and taking her side every time. He helped her in the kitchen, didn't see anything wrong with helping his wife, showed concern for her well being. He tried to show her in little ways he loved her, offered her a red rose on the hollimoon. Got her an popsicle stick, asked to hold her hand, take a photograph with her, went to the edge of the cliff and forced her to say I LUB YOU and got her rabdi after overhearing her asking his mother to make some at home.

Any self-respecting man would have told Prats to take a hike and get lost no matter how much he loved her at some point after all the insults, put downs, angry outburts directed at him from her and esp. the ridicule from his family. He would have had enough of her notanki, not try to apologize, defend her and tell her when she cries his heart bleeds or ask her when she would even understand his love. She has thrown insults at him stemming from her hatred of him for the actions she believes he committed against her and her family. But yet Baba keeps coming back to her for more. WHY?

Even now he is fighting with his family and has said several times to SS "HUM PRATIGYA BINA G NAHI SAKTHE" " HUMKO PRATIGYA CHAHIYE, BUS, BATH KATHAM".

So why is Krishna, this man about town who had Allahabad dancing to his tunes on the tips of his finger before he met Prats suddenly so helpless and needy of his wife. There is almost a desperate quality to his needniess of her. We know it is not based on lust bec' it was we would have seen a different Krishna behaving more like SS and Katra Naresh. He yearns for an emotional connection and need for him to accept and love him too. We know he loves her but why is that love clouded by his neediness of Prats?WHY? WHY? WHY? What is it about her that has him tied up in knots that he can't eat, sleep, drink or do anything else but bring her back to his home. Why was he haunted by her absence from his home? Is his love for Prats making him crazy?

Achcha! Chalbo, iske barre mei kuch tho bolbo yaar!😃

that's so wonderfully written. i'm new here, thanks to my friend opti's recommendation of this serial. don't know much about their past, so it was quite an eye opener reading about krishna's obsession with pratigya.
and it made yesterday's scene all the more painful for me. for a husband so besotted with his wife it must have been heart wrenching to hear her say *aap hamare layak nahi* - he was so hurt - he let go of her hand. i wonder if this is the start of his letting go of her.
to have a wife say this to you would be pretty devastating to any husband.

Thankooji! Welcome to the IF. We have some healthy discussions about the show so join in the fun!😃

Pride has no place in a marriage. While his methods of expressing his love are not always right, he has had several misses and a few heart-melting hits as well, his need for her emotional acceptance of him keeps him coming back for more. He flaunts his ego with everyone else but in her presence his ego has no place.

During the hollimoon he said "you are not worthy of my love, forget touching you I won't even look at you. When you tarass for my love even then I won't love you." You could see the hurt, anger and pain at her rejection in his words, yet within days this man who is famous for his ziddi buckled and was back doing things to please her and taking care of her.

Prats is also behaving the way she does only bec' she feels secure in Krishna's love for her. She is using that as her trump card to force the SS family to kow down to her. But will this go on forever? Will Krishna walk away at some point finally coming to his senses it is not worth all this pain and agony in the name of love and move on? Or will his ziddi in continuing along this path till he wins her over prove that he was right. He has always been confident he would win her love one day and it will all be worth it to him when she falls in love with him.
