Hope you are well now !! that vacation seems to have done wonder's to you 😃
after watching some of the recent episodes, i have to say, krishna is one UNPREDICTABLE character, probably the most unpredictable character i have ever seen on indian television. but i am LIKING this sudden, surprising, "unpredictable" element about him. he IS improving, little by little, VERY LITTLE, but yes, there is improvement. i mean, first, i thought he was going to flip the shizzzzzz the very moment pratigya left, and FORCE HER TO COME BACK WITH HIM. and though, he did try, he nowhere was as forceful as i expected him to be, or else, i do believe pratigya would have given in eventually, and had gone back to him by now (i mean, that's what she did last time,
There is a reason for that this time ..I would say Krishna was not successful bcos Pratigya has become stronger ,she is no longer a timid mouse ...now she is becoming equal ti Baba in stubbornness ,determination and when such Stubbornness is backed by a righteous fury ,then not only Baba but the whole Thakur Khandhan will have to bow before it ...and another added fact is Baba is aware that what he did was not appropriate [Note he still has not realised that wife beating is wrong ] ...So he is not able to bring the full force of HIS fury/passion to dominate Pratigya
in today's (june 7) episode; i mean, never, NEVER did i expect krishna to say, "ok, you wanna stay at your maayka, FINE, stay then!!!" 😲😲😲 and even though i was SHOCKED, i was HAPPPPPPYYYYYYYYY. THIS, is what i always wanted: for krishna to leave pratigya alone, and not force her.
Pricey , Krishna has not left Pratigya alone ..if such a thought exists in your head ,perish it !! 😊Krishna has retreated for the moment ...I am sure he will come up with a new game plan to woo her back ...
i want the makers of pratigya to eventually show SS, shakti, and krishna to be at least INCARCERATED, so that the message is sent to the REAL SS, shaktis, and krishnas of the world, that, such deplorable abuse against women and other heinous crimes will NOT be tolerated, and that, there definitely are some consequences, VERY HARSH CONSEQUENCES for these crimes!!!!
Agree with you as far as SSS goes but beg to differ in case of Krishna ...For Krishna has been blessed with a conscience [Slightly weak and vacillating now ,but still a conscience] ..and this conscience should punish him ...It should insult him ,mock him ,Goad him into being a better MAN and let me assure you the punishment meted out by one's conscience is much more severe and life lasting than any IPC Punishments
i was also happy with the fact that krishna kept quiet and didn't threaten pratigya after she said that, "but i'm not amma or bhabhi, and i will NOT tolerate any beatings." i really liked that he didn't say anything after that,
But Krishna has already realised that Prats is not Amma/Kesar ... he would mention this very fact when Kesar -Krishna will be having their heart-heart talk ...and his silence today is the acknowledgement of that fact .
@blue: yes, pratigya has become stronger, but TBH, i don't think even this strength would've worked had krishna acted with her the way he acted last time. pratigya's weakness is her family, she can't take their pain and humiliation. so if krishna forced her to come back with him, using the same tactics he used last time, and made her family suffer and humiliated them, again, like last time, i do feel pratigya would've come back to him. but thank god krishna didn't act like that this time around, and this is why i am saying he is changing...plus, like you said, krishna feels something, he didn't feel last time, which is: he was at least of some fault. this time, he feels he was wrong for lying, he was wrong for something, whereas last time, he just became crazy, and couldn't think past anything aside from his objective: to "win" pratigya. and this feeling, is definitely helping him change, little by little. yes, i agree.
@red: well, i sooooo wished he HAD left her alone. but you know what, trying to "woo" her back, with his love, is not bad either. in fact, now that i think about it, i like that idea much better. and truly, the boy really doesn't need to do a lot to woo her. just do what most husbands do: be respectful towards your wife, don't beat her, don't threaten her, and definitely don't try to rape her, and pratigya will eventually come to love him. the rest of his qualities, are actually EXCELLENT qualities, that most husbands don't have. i can tell he does love her and can't live without her, and would never even fathom of cheating on her. if she lets him, i know he would be very caring towards her as well. he will even stand up for her, in front of HIS family. two things, most husbands do NOT do these days: remain faithful and stand up for their wives in front of family. BUT, there is a very big "but" here. like i said, he needs to be respectful, not be so brash about things, and pratigya will definitely love him as well. and honestly, these are the "easy" things. if he learns to do just those, like i said, the rest of his qualities are excellent qualities in a husband, that even i would want my future husband to have. and pratigya is a very good wife as well. she will take care of him, and his family, try to meet his every need, i am sure of that. i mean, she had already done most of it, even WHILE he was treating her like crap. so imagine how much she would do for him if he had actually treated her better...
@black: regardless, krishna still has committed some very HEINOUS and DISGUSTING crimes (yes, they are CRIMES), that i'm afraid, the punishment of feeling your own guilt, or the punishment of having your own conscience torture you, is NEARLY NOT ENOUGH!!!!!!! i mean, where do i begin...he has done some very DISGUSTING things both BEFORE and AFTER his marriage. so he MUST be incarcerated, in ADDITION to feeling the heat of his own guilt. and ONLY THEN will i feel satisfied, only then will i feel justice has been served. NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW, even a man who feels he's guilty. you feel guilty, well guess what, you do the crime, you do the time. its as simple as that. krishna merely feeling guilty, and leaving it at just that, will NOT be sufficient in fulfilling his debt to society, IMO. like i said, i could've let it go, but the things he's done both BEFORE and AFTER marriage are just too despicable IMO, to simply ignore if he just feels guilty about having committed them and changes.
@green: agreed.
