Yes such marriages do take place. For this show the storyline took this path and finally coming to the phase where, Pratigya's character will take lead, in moving this serial in the direction that was intended at the start. So the stage is set.

Yaar,I really feel bad for those girls who've gone and even now as we speak might be going through whatever they've shown in this serial.And yup,I guess this was the direction the serial was always meant to take.

after reading your mini update....this krishna guy just confuses me!! and the creatives are confused to, like seriously, that's just stupid, one moment, he regrets slapping her and wants her back and what not, and the very next moment he is back to being a jerk and that just ruins his character, it's just seems so random, a gradual change is fine, but the creatives should show that the character has a smooth flow =S

nope, I don't think so! This is why Krishna is different, he has scope to improve, if the guy can abuse her slap her, and later one punishes himself, it shows that he can still redeem himself! And since this is a show, Prats will one day forget all what he did!!

for example, in one scene he says how aurat pair ki jooti hai and she's only meant to take of the kids and house and all those along-the-line-of-jerk thoughts...
and in another scene he was telling amma how he doesn't minda helping her with the housework and all that....

there's so many more examples,.... I just don't get it anymore =S

but it doesn't make sense if he contradicts himself, which he does very often.... he said one thing to her after the hollimoon fiasco and did another thigng 😕

im surprised he didnt own up to his mistake in front of chandu and tunna atleast he is making his father out to be the bad guy when he is equally responsible for pratigya's insult!!!
