Anyways this topic tribute to the first successful kriya hubby-wife conversation. Jai Ho to Kriya👏
Anyways it was sooo sweet Krishna asked Pratigya to sit down. She looks at him curiously and asked if he had any work for her then tell her. Ohooooooooo Prats will do something for Krishna if he asks. She obliged him and sat down. Krishna doesn't say anything I guess he doesn't know what to say. First Dialogue of the day: 'Kya Baat Hai', how sweeeeeeeet did she say that OMK, I was bowled over completely and wanted to pull on her cheeks. It was a wife's question, carried no indifference or irritation but genuine curiosity. 😳
When he said 'aram kar lo', a small smile played on her lips. Then came the first advice Pratigya has given Krishna as his wife. She acknowledges he can tell her anything, but not his mother. Smart move Pratigya, I think in that one sentence she stamped her official stamp of highest authority in his life over anyone. He can tell her anything because she is his wife, and ofcourse you are only completely honest, and bold with no reservations with the person you love the most.
I also like to believe her advice was meant to stop him from getting humiliated again. I sensed anger yesterday in Pratigya, sure we could interpret it like she felt embarrassed for herself, but I want to believe she felt more bad that her husband came out looking like a fool. So her advice meant to curb his enthusiasm to defend her, because she doesn't like to see him being taunted. Again portrays her growing sense of protectionist instincts towards not only Krishna's material needs, but more importantly as his better half she must also protect his dignity. 👏
Coming back to 'pair dabane waali baat'. Krishna replies he was joking, ok I have read some are disappointed that he made a joke out of it, but kudos to the dialogue writers for keeping baba's mentality in perspective. he will never ever admit something of that nature not even to pratigya, as we all know too well his pride is one of his defining characteristics. More importantly I think he feels vulnerable with Pratigya now, he is no longer the clueless lover boy anymore he has been full well debriefed on her dislike of him. I don't think he once again wants to head down the thorny path of rejection and heart ache. He didn't want to admit to something that she will only rebuke him for and say mind your own business.
Second dialogue of the day: 'Is ghar ko apna ghar mante hain'. 🥳
You know in most marriages they say pati ko apna banao, then ghar pe kabza karo. since kriya are such a unique couple, prats is going about it oolta, but soon she will arrive at her destination. She asks for the second time if he wants anything to tell her. But prats missed out on baba's real intentions, he just wanted to sit with her for sometime, that was his zaroorath. Again we see his vulnerability, I think the earlier krishna would have come out openly and said I want to spend time with you, but since he got screwed the last time he was so open, he didn't want to admit it and listen to have her say no. Instead he cutely says 'Kuch nahin', third dialogue of the day. This short phrase had a lot of meaning, because he said it with some hurt, some longing, more importantly he hoped she would understand his real zaroorath without him having to show it.
It is a home run, the ball was batted out of the stadium. The scene had it all portrayed a wife's concern, her sound advice, a husband's love and longing, and more importantly so endearingly portrayed the progress and comfort level in their communication. 👍🏼
Oh dear I hope I haven't over analyzed this.
To all those who love my over analysis. 🤗
