Krishna didn't think about this matter until she stood up, so there's that +ve streak in him that I like... but if he thinks that only this would make her fall in love with him then he is wrong! he supported not because he thought that will make her fall in love with him. he did so cuz he loves her.

Imagine Aarushi in place of Pratigya, I'm dead sure she would have straightened out Krishna's family in a single day, coz she speaks what she feels is right...
