Accha, shant ho jao, as the Sucksenas like to say. 😉 But it turned out to be GOONDE MAWALI HARKATHEIN DAY. 👏For a shanthi-loving sharif family as they like to call themselves, ever since their badi beti returned home they have had a drama filled life which gets more interesting by the day and the are clueless about how to handle it.
There is a lot not right with the Tacurse either, that needs to change but at least they are not pretending to be something they are not. They let their barbaric, uncultured behavior and what not all hang out and take pride in who they are, warts and all.😕
Sucksenas have from the beginning have been wearing their education like an badge of honor. Their choices however makes one question if they are just literate not educated in the real sense of the word. As Guru Ma said the there is life's education and then education from the books. Sucksenas are righteous and look down on anyone without an education. Getting a college degree alone doesn't guarantee a decent human being. There are many "educated" men and women out there with multiple degrees who also abuse their spouses and children in their families. It all boils down to human decency, personality and upbringing.
Dadi has been a loud mouth since day one. Arushi has learned from her to be verbally abusive. How is she any different from Komal? Komal is uneducated and out of anger at being ignored since day one (for no fault of her that Adarsh married her) she called them names. What Arushi did today was rude and offensive. This girl has no manners or common sense. She talked Pratigya into hiding things from her family bec' they couldn't go out ghoomo-firo otherwise. She is the youngest member of the family yet the older members let her shoot her mouth off. It's as if they really want it said just they don't want to be the one to tarnish their own image by saying it out loud. They are hypocritical, as Komal pointed out to Adarsh upon their return from hollimoon.
Krishna, let's not forget has a lot of bottled up anger after the hollimoon. While his intentions to defend his in-laws are good, his methods are still questionable. He is used to settling differences by fighting. He grew up in a home where aiming guns and pistols at the adversary of the moment was the norm and maybe evena favorite game. When Krishna was talking about getting married Sakthi gave him a gun as a present, go figure!😲
The complexity in Krishna's character is interesting. On the one side he wants to and will do anything for Pratigya and her family. On the other hand his methods of handling problems is outdated and somewhat barbaric. No wonder AV's advice to him while it light a spark in his mind didn't really resonate deeply enough for him to make some changes. That kind of reasoning is foreign to him. Even when Pratigya doesn't see it, he is excited to tell her how much he has changed since the marriage. Instead of handling things with kid gloves she throws his little efforts back in his face. Her feedback only sends him back to his old methods because he doesn't know any better. If she appreciated his efforts and showed him the way maybe he has a better chance of being the man she can accept. It's up to her now to extend a hand to lead him down the right path. As krishna_chalbo rightly said in one of her posts, Krishna is like Mowgli the "man cub" from the Jungle Book. Pratigya's world is new to him and he is lost though his heart is in the right place.
BTW, educated or not, why was Prof. more concerned about Krishna making a tamasha there than the fact that his son-in law was stabbed and bleeding? Once again their pride was more important than their humanity. They cry at the drop of a hat ......... such weakness in their behavior. While Krishna and Komal are fearless and need a lttle toning down, the Sucksenas need a good kick to wake them up to action. They are so caught up in how society would judge them than being practical and facing reality. Like it or not Krishna is their son-in-law and to let the youngest brat in the house speak to him that way speaks volumes. Nainaji stepped in but Arushi was beyond caring, making a fool of herself in front of guests at the pooja. How is Arushi any different than Amma who tom-tomed to the guest her son's private matters? Can't wait to see Komal's comeback at Arushi tomorrow if she defends Krishna.
Even SS stepped in when Amma took pot-shots at Prats during havan and reminded her to respect her as the daughter in law of the house. The Tacurse could teach a thing or two to the educated Sucksenas about life too.
The Sucksenas are scaredy cats who are afraid of their own shadows. Can't really blame Pratigya for her demeanour now, can we? She was raised by these scared people who may be "educated" but don't understand the world they live in. Just telling the world they are shanthi loving people is not going to fix their problems in the real world.
Angad is going to come back with a vengence😡to get back at Krishna for beating him to a pulp and dragging him for "maafi" once again. How will Krishna handle the news of the kidnapping? 😲 Let's not go there just yet. 😲
