I think first of all hum sabko pata hai ki why she doesn't behave nicely to him,kyunki woh usse nafrat karti hai.Aur jab insaan kisise nafrat karte hai toh uske shakal tak dekhna pasand nahi karte hain leave alone trying to be sweet to tht person.Its all because of the misunderstandings.Ppl can't expect her to be sweet to the person she hates.And no matter how sweet he is to her now it can't make up for all the bezati and trauma she and her family had to face hence she doesn't respond to his love and affection coz she can't forget all the things which she thinks he is responsible for.
I think it's ur personal choice if u wanna support him despite how he's gonna treat her but I think hitting a woman is a mistake which shuld never be forgiven or forgotten and hence I hope Pratigya doesn't forgive him for wht he'd gonna do to her,I hope from the bottom of my heart tht she'll torture him in such a way tht he'll realize his mistake and feel terrible for it,and thn if she thinks he's worth being forgiven she'll forgive him.

I hope as well that Krishna turns into a good person.

But honestly, look at this objectively and just 2 human beings, not Krishna and Pratigya.

From the start she NEVER liked him, so he comes, breaks her engagement and terrorizes her family (this is means enough to hate him.)

Okay so he didn't do the kidnapping thing, but honestly would she have hated him less, she hated him before that as well, so what does it matter? If she finds out he didn't kidnap her...fine. BUT she isn't going to forgive everything else.

So she goes into the marriage hating the guy. AND THIS IS THE BIG THING! YOU CANNOT FORCE SOMEONE TO LIKE YOU!

So he tries everything and hes not winning her love, but clearly she is only going to see that none of this needed to happen if he wasn't forceful in the first place, she isn't going to see "OH look hes standing up to his family." Well there would be no need for him to go against his family if he left her alone in the first place.

So at the end of the day, comes the honeymoon. He is trying and trying but to no avail, because hes trying and he is her husband that means she should respond? be nice to him? start showing love to him as well? UHHHH NOOO!

END MESSAGE: if someone doesnt like you, they dont like you. u cant force someone, and even if someone is trying hard...doesnt mean u have to like them back. NO MEANS NO!

And because she isnt responding does not mean u can hit her? or she provoked it in any way. its not her duty to love u (even if she is ur wife) if she doesnt.

you made some really valid points here that i agree with. i guess all that standing up for her doesnt really work in his favor if it just another reminder for pratigya to show that she got married into a family that just doesnt live up to her expectations.
as far as loving him is concerned we all want her to love him. as far as the story is concerned maybe she would eventually love him. but why does it have to be that way is that the only realistic end. sometimes no means no. no matter how romantic or charming or good looking a guy is or whatever the reason there is just not that special feeling. love is felt from within not provoked to start. does pratigya ever need to love krishna even if he does repent?????? maybe she is just not the one for him i wonder if krishna will ever grasp that logic.
