Komal Behavior and my thoughts!!!!

During the initial stages of Pratigya we were told that the character of Komal will be like a Parallel lead. But her character man it is so tough to like nowadays. Ok there was this childishness about her initially, and when she was getting married we saw some shyness but now she just acts spiteful for no reason at all. There is a thin line between portraying a character who is so ignorant that she doesn't understand what she is doing evoking sympathy from willfully causing harm to others because of her ego.

What I don't understand is what did Komal think marriage was about. Woman have to do chores around the house and did she not know Pratigya's family was poor. Did Ammaji not see the house before marriage, now she is putting all the blame on Krishna and SS. She too allowed this marriage to happen and didn't outwardly oppose Komal marriage. What exactly Komal problem is the fact they are poor or is the fact that she is bored.

I am actually surprised the way the track is headed I actually thought they will Portray Adarsh more distant and this will be cause of Komal's agressive attitude. But now the way things are going Komal is just being evil for no good reason at all I bet if she made an effort Adarsh will respond to her.

What is god's name are they doing to Amma's character. I wanted them to show that it was SS who corrupted Komal but it looks like Amma is the one who did all the damage. I am disappointed in the creatives for pushing Amma character so negative there is no need for that. This is not a saas bahu soap. Every characters have shades of positive and negative including SS, the show is supposed to face real problems in society like abuse of women, literacy and caste issues and encompassing all this would be a love story that overcomes all odds.

You know what I would have loved to see is Pratigya standing up for Ammaji when she gets beaten by SS, and from that they develop a bond. The three woman Amma, Kesar and Pratigya could have bonded over how in some way they were all overpowered by Men. Pratigya could have confessed to Amma that Krishna forced her into this marriage and they could have had a heart to heart. Amma could have helped Prats understand baba better help their marriage progress, and Pratigya in turn could have helped her MIL share her troubles and sorrows and maybe dreams she must have had and they could have started real reform in the family of woman education and independence. Ohhhhhhhh why cant they show some positivity like that no matter how old you are you can still make a difference in your life all you need is courage. Pratigya a catalyst for real change I would have loved to see women pursue something in their lives that they wanted to do but they couldn't because of their husbands.

Every episode all we see is some ammaji backwaas for no reason but to taunt her son and bahu. We dont even understand why she is so upset with Pratigya is it all because she didn't allow Krishna to touch her. I remember before marriage Ammaji was telling Krishna to respect Pratigya and his family and Pratigya is going to be his wife so he should respect them and not talk about defaming them. What the hell happened to that Ammaji.

This show we are supposed to feel sorry for the women and not the men. We are feeling sorry for Krishna because he is being pulled like a tug of war from all sides, and I feel sorry for SS too what a behoodi wife he is got. Feeling sorry for Adarsh despite his folly I dont think he quite understood how bad Komal was. We should rename this show 'Men and their Behoodi wives'.

love ur comments...i feel ammaji's character has gone down the drain and there is no hope for that woman. the creatives could have showed a loving bond between ammaji and pratigya but they decided to make pratigya's life more difficult and pitted ammaji against her. kesar seems like the only one who crares for pratigya besides krishna.

Hmmm....I think the negative Amma character is necessary and the saas-bahu channel 😆 in this show is nothing like Ekta serials....Coz, like u said, this show is about how women are mistreated by men...but esp. in Asian countries, women are also abused by their husbands and in-laws, esp. mother-in-laws!!! Just coz Ekta started KSBKBT doesnt mean that ny saas-bahu channel is copying Ekta's, I am sure even Ekta grew up watching serials where brides are mistreated by their in-laws----coz its very common in our countries....BUT in this serial, I think the creatives are getting v. close to real-life situations, they r portraying the different types of saas-bahu very nicely, like, a very few no. of saas treat their bahus as beti (Naina and Komal), most of them usually treat them as servants (Amma and Kesar) and some even treat them as enemies or sautan, lol (Amma and Pratigya)...And the CVs are also showing how women are sometimes responsible for the mistreatment that they suffer---Amma - thinks that she is lucky that there is some one to rule over her 😡, i mean, if ur mentality is like that ny one would feel free to do as they wish with u... Yeah, the only time she sounded like a good woman was when she told Krishna not to kidnap Pratigya...But now that I think of it, she was also the one who said to Krishna that he can do nything with Pratigya except marrying---disgusting!!! Now I think, she was probably scared that if Krishna kidnaps Pratigya, there wont be ny other way but to marry them...and thats y she dint want him to kidnap her....

I kinda agree with everything but how can you feel bad for SS?
He's a bad guy too! He has beaten that behudi up (She needs a harder one) and he has no respect for women AT ALL! How do you expect the reasoning of Komal and Shakti's behavior?

And also, Komal wasn't exactly told about the family being poor! But I do agree that the fact she was shy at one point and aggressive at another was strange...I guess its because Adarsh hasn't even glanced at her that she has had this HUGE hatred for Pratigya! Remember during the Suhaag Raat she had waited for him to get near her.

I agree with everything else though..WONDERFUL post 😃

Then there is Kesar - too scared to speak her mind -- would rather be beaten up her whole life then leave that freaking devil of a husband of hers!!

And of course, Komal - too spoiled to understand her own good!!

Pratigya--hmmm--I can sort of understand her behavior towards Amma and Komal-- I mean she never spoke up against her own dadi when dadi used to speak nonsense-- So, I understand y she doesnt with Amma and Komal....and this is just the beginning-- I am sure she will speak up once she feels like its soo untolerable!!! Yes, she speaks up to Krishna who BTW after marriage hasnt done a single wrong---and I find that acceptable too-- coz all the mistreatments that she is getting from her in-laws wont be possible if Krishna wasnt in love with her!!!

I would still prefer and am sure that the creatives who can make the Krishna character so fabulous, can also do a better job with Pratigya's character so that her actions can express her strength!!⭐️

Now that you mention it, I guess the Saas Bahu track isn't soo bad.
I believe things like this happen in real life...And most of the time Saas Bahu stuff happens because of nonsense (a bit like in Ekta's 😆)
But in this show, this track has started because of Jealousy (I've noticed things) and also because she thinks her daughter is not as fortunate. To be honest, I would expect her to understand

I think Komal is only retaliating because she feels trapped between everyone else's decisions. She's also uneducated, which means she lacks critical thinking skills. Consequently, she cannot think outside of her mentality that the Saxenas are "horrible", "mean" and "incorrigible" people. So, it's really like a cycle....she thinks that the Saxenas are "rude" and not nice....someone does something to affirm her belief (Arushi/Adarsh)...and then she really strongly believes her original beliefs.

The other reason I can think of is that maybe the lingo that the Saxenas are using is incomprehensible to her. All her life, she's been near people who abuse, curse, and are always screaming when they talk. Here in the Saxena family, people are actually behaving decently, so maybe she's like "This is not normal!!!!".....and then the above cycle continues again.......Gol gol ka kamaal hai!!! 😆

Hmmmmmmmm I actually confused to what extent she felt trapped before marriage. She liked Adarsh when she first met him, she confesses after marriage that she was genuinely happy that she was going to her pati's house. But now all we get from her is resentment just because they are middle class ok i said poor before but they are not poor they are your average middle class family. So she is pissed off she doesnt have the comforts of life that is what I am sensing from her attitude.
