May be the Laila scene was to say that in the future only Paro can do that for him & Laila is meant for only one thing ? Though completely not required I guess the future episodes will tell us why so.

I dont think Paro shoots Rudra since the hospital scenes shows Rudra & Paro together.

The scene wasn't illogical or out of context at all. It was ,in fact, the most appropriate one. He has had a hell of a day & if he wants to forget it all , momentarily & just indulge in some physical pleasure,then what's wrong with it ? Laila knows that he comes to her ONLY for physical reasons & she is ok with it & as of now there is no LOVE between him & Paro so I don't see why this fuss over these scenes ? It was the most natrual thing, as far as I think.
