If Bollywood remade Hollywood

Gravity would be film produced by Aamir Khan, directed by Aamir Khan, starring Aamir Khan in a double role as twin brothers reprising the characters of George Clooney and Sandra Bullock. There will be a lot of buzz about Aamir Khan's perfectionism and how he consulted NASA and actual astronauts to ensure technical accuracy yet in patriotic fervor the space debris will be the result of an inferior Pakistani Space shuttle spontaneously disintegrating in space. There will be rave reviews about the cinematic masterpiece. Satyamevate Jayate Season 2 will feature a patriotic promotional piece on Indians in space and how India can eventually match USA and Russia in the Space Race.

The Wolf Of Wall Street would have be a Bollywood Crime caper Dalaal Ke Lombdi' starring Ranveer Singh as a charming rogue. Jonah Hill would be replaced by Anushka Sharma and there will be a romantic angle between them. All the orgy scenes will be replaced with steamy controversial item numbers by Katrina Kaif, Gauhar Khan and Rakhi Sawant. Nudity will be replaced by song sequences between Ranveer and Anushka shot at stunning locales all across the world. All the drug use will be replaced by illicit desi daaru bars and scenes of heavy cigarette smoking with statutory warnings. This would be the most controversial film of the exacerbated by Ranveer's over the top comments and behaviors in all promotional interviews. Somehow despite all the efforts to make Ranveer's criminal character charming, suave, sexy, desirable and a genuine ladies man beloved by ladies - he will still come off as a giant prick.

Her would be a path breaking Ram Gopal Verma film starring Amitabh Bacchan in engaging in shocking, societally frowned upon relationship with artificial intelligence voiced sultrily by bahu Ash adding to the fire of controversy. The film would flop miserably and have a most contrived story ever.

Dallas Buyers Club would be a critically acclaimed performance by Irfan Khan. The story will be well adapted by the makers to be realistic, heart wrenching and highlight a medical problem in India like corruption, organ smuggling or something similar. It will be a gritty, hard hitting film with phenomenal performances and superior direction and narrative. The movie will perform mediocre at the box office doing will in metros, but receive a lot of positive praise from the serious discerning critics. It would play at film festivals and get appreciated by foreign critics too.

Twelve Years a Slave would be a film by Karan Johar, starring SRK a dalit landowner, but jealous zamindars trick him, usurp his land and make him slave in their fields as a bonded laborer for twelve years. Finally his rights are restored by a kind hearted social worker. The movie will feature SRK in his most atrocious cringe worthy hamming ever, but miraculously receive accolades for his exceptional performance. The film will also have Johnny Lever for odd ill timed comic relief in an otherwise serious depressing story.

American Hustle would be Desi Tamasha starring Salman Khan and his brothers in the leading roles in a Khan family production. The leading ladies will be played by Sonakshi Sinha and Daisy Shah (or any other leading ladies Salman happens to fancy at the time). The stellar female roles would be reduced to mere pretty accessorization of women on screen while the Khan Bros, mostly Salman hog all the screen time, glory and limelight. The film will do exceptionally well at the box office and be declared an instant ATBB.

Award season would mean furious fighting between SRK fans rooting for his over the top hamming in twelve years a slave and Salman Khan fans going nuts over a mediocre, highly overrated and undeserving ATBB Desi Tamasha. Aamir Fans will sit in a corner to sadly rue and lament award shows ignoring his megalomaniac masterpiece Gravity and complain how the industry ignores true talent and discuss how Aamir is too good for Bollywood. Meanwhile Irfan Khan's stellar movie just slips under the radar and gets ignored, but there will really be no fans to care about this travesty.
