CHAPTER-4.
Veera was never so scared in her entire life..
Her eyes wide open,she tried to get rid of the hand covering her mouth..She punched and scratched at the intruder's hand and body,but all in vain.
The only sound coming out of her throat was her muffled whimper..
"Shshshhh!I won't hurt you!"A deep voice whispered urgently,trying to stop her struggles..
But Veera was beyond caring..She just knew she had to get herself free..
She went on whimpering and trying to get rid of the intruder and his hand..
"Calm down!I said I won't hurt you!"The guy hissed again..
As she tried to push him off herself,unsuccessfully.
Finally she bit with all her strength into the intruder's rough palm..
"SHIT!THE HELL CAT!!!"He cursed out loud,as he removed his hand to suck on his injury,and that was all Veera needed..
She instantly had pushed him off,and was running to the door,ready to scream for help from her Veerji..
"VEE-"
Her sound was muffled once again,as a strong pair of male hand pulled her,pushing her up against the wall,and covered her mouth with one hand once again..
"SHUT UP I SAID!"
Veera whimpered to silence,as she looked into a dark pair of eyes..Her eyes barely seeing the face,in the dim light of the room..
But strangely she felt she had seen this face before,heard this voice before,and also felt this touch before..
And suddenly tingling sensations started passing through her nerves,starting from every points she was in contact with the intruder..
He was breathing heavily,and his warm breath so close to her face,was making her feel something she had never felt in her entire life..
Finally,he seemed to realize she had stopped struggling,so slowly he removed his hand off her mouth.But not before his fingers lightly brushed her lips..
A soft gasp escaped her lips,as a certain tingling sensation arose in her lips,at the mere touch of his fingers..
Her heart beat escalated,as she looked into the deepest pair of dark eyes she had ever seen in her entire life..Completely hypnotized by them,as she looked into them in the glow of the single lamp,lit at the corner of her room..
He moved his face slightly,and a sudden gasp escaped her lips,as she finally realized who the intruder was..
It was the same guy,who had saved her twice that very same day!
Her eyes widened in surprise and confusion..What was he doing here?!
He smiled as if he could read her thoughts..A gentle and slightest curve to those perfect male lips,had her heart fluttering some more..
"Mainu dekhna tha iss sheher ki kudi nu..To lijiye aa gaya main![I had to see this city girl..So here I am!]"He whispered softly coming closer to her..
Veera tried to push herself back against the wall,as far as she could,but she could not move an inch,as she was already plastered to the wall.She was having difficulty in controlling her heart rate,and as his warm breath mingled with hers,she suddenly was feeling very dizzy..
Veera raised hands trying to push him away..Her hands were instead captured by his,as he kept them locked against his wide chest.
Hai o Rabba!Ye mainu ki ho raha hai?![OMG!What is happening to me?!]She thought to herself,as the guy kept on coming closer..
Her senses were engulfed by his male scent..She closed her eyes trying to calm her nerves,but her nerves and racing heart where not helping her..Nor was the guy's proximity helping in any way..She knew she had to get herself free,had to get away,but she could not move an inch even if she wanted to..
"Look at me.."He whispered softly,his warm breath blowing on her sensitive lips.
Slowly she opened her eyes and looked into his burning ones..Her breathing heavy now,as her hand on his chest,held the front of his kurta tightly.
He was looking at her so intensely,that she felt if it had been possible,she would have melted into a puddle right then..
She gasped out again,as she felt his one hand circling her waist,just before he pulled her closer up against his hard male body..
"Your name suits you.."He whispered softly moving his lips close to her ear..
She shivered slightly,as his warm breath tickled at her earlobe..
He knows my name?!
He sniffed at her hair by her ear,nuzzling her earlobe at the same tome..Another chocking current passed through her body.
CLANG!
The sound of falling utensil from the ground-floor,broke into their cloud of passion..
Suddenly he had pushed Veera away from himself,and before she could even get back her breathing,he was gone..Just like he had come out of nowhere,he was gone within seconds..
Veera let out a shattered breath,and as her legs gave away completely,leaning on the wall behind her,she sat flat on the floor..
Her face rosy,her hair messed up,her temperature high,and her breathing ragged..
She leaned her head against the wall,and closed her eyes..
"Mainu bachao Rab ji..[Save me God..]"She whispered softly..
On the other hand the cause of her turmoil,was driving down the lonely road like a maniac..
His face a mask of confusion and frustration..
Finally he screeched to a halt,by the school field..He studied the slight teeth marks,still present on his palm..Slowly he raised it to his lips and kissed the spot,where her teeth had bit into his skin..Suddenly he realized what he was doing..
That was when he groaned out loud,and knelt his head on the steering wheel..
What the hell is happening to me?!
The next morning Veera woke up to a lot of sound in the house..
What was happening?!She thought rubbing her eyes grouchily..
She had slept very late last night,and now all this noise..She got up to freshen herself..
By the time she walked downstairs,she was astonished to see a lot of people bringing things in,and carrying things out of the house..
Her eyes searched for someone of her family..She finally noticed her chaiji scolding some man about keeping stuffs in the right place..
Quickly she walked upto her..
"Moti chaiji!What's happening?!"
"Aare Chichri!You don't know?!Your Veerji has arranged a welcome party for you tonight!"
"A welcome party?!"Veera's eyes widened,and then she turned away,to search for her Veerji..Her eyes twinkling with mischief..
"Now I'll surely get to meet that scoundrel Baldeva!"She murmured ,smiling naughtily to herself..
"WELCOME PARTY FOR VEERA?!!"Baldev exclaimed out at his father's announcement..
Oh so!Pritampura's trouble is back again!He thought with anger and eagerness all at the same time,as his upper lip curled in a sneer,and his eyes glinted with mischief..
