Lovely post echoes many of the thoughts that resonated within me
MY 2 bits
I agree NB Just when you thought one actor was walking away with the scene and the laurels another steps in and raises the ante and it soon became a delight to watch who is going to next raise the bar This is what I hope will make this soap successful as it keeps all the ensemble cast interesting instead of just relying on the leads
That chap who plays Thakur simply incredible I loved his sneer at the end and the way he called out Rudra over Paro Magnificent! Brings to my mind another villain who was similarly deliciously evil till satyanash happened Aiyo Say good things only Swathi
The confrontation between the 2 was so palpable that I could easily buy into it and both the actor stole the limelight from the other with every dialogue spoken almost like a ping pong game and I have to concede Thakursa won just by a tiny tiny bit on account of that jeering gesture he made for outsmarting Rudra
Other worthy mentions Notice his 2 body guards, one chap has been with him right from the start, their body language and expressions spot on they almost make you believe in his fiefdom
The actor who essays the role of Aman is another marvel You can really let yourself believe there is an actual bond between Rudra and him He brings that much life
This is the first serial after the one that shall never be named for fear of death that literally every single person in the frame emotes which makes for pleasurable viewing
For SI to shine would have been a herculean task given all the powerful scenes dialogues in the face off were given to the male protagonist and antagonist that made them very larger than life I thought she would be chopped liver today and was not expecting anything but the creatives surprised me again
she with her powerful acting in that heartbreaking scene with her aunt she made you cry and after that only with her eyes which conveyed the horror and pain of her life
A lesser actor would have crumbled or faded in the back ground after all that macho exchange but she stood out in all the scenes afterwards leading right up to the shattering acceptance that she is nonentity right now She is slowly surely and confidently adding her own nuances to the interpretion of Paro
I am so glad that equal attention is being paid to the female ensemble cast I loved Mamisa the conflict within her and the flashbacks Stroke of genius
I have to applaud the PH and its creatives for right from the start every single cameo from the lecherous uncle to the sidekick cousins to the mercenaries have been absolutely spot on They have not been discounted As for Bindisa Varunsa and Lailasa they deserve a separate AT as well as that lovely snake and crocodile man
I was a bit miffed a couple of days back when she is shown crying over her husbands dead body They played it a bit too straight I would have loved to have seen him yanking her to handcuff and she holding onto the lapels of her Varun sa dress with a dialogue of she cannot leave his body or something on those lines That would have made it so poignant and juxtaposed with that Martyrs salute scene would have made an fabulous contrast I still contend that all the male actors seem to be far better sketched and have scenes and dialogues built around them but yesterday was an surprise
I guess they are sticking to the element of Guns and Roses
Did you notice one of the extras is from her old hit show I literally burst out laughing when I saw him
