From Friendship to Love.
~Epilogue~
Sorry for the extremely late update! And as promised, I would be posting an epilogue and here it is! Enjoy! 😳 Please leave your likes and comments, goes for the silent readers too. I would like to see all of your feedback. 😃😃
A little girl, around the age of 8 was running around the corners of central park with her best friend Asif.
"Asif! Asif! Slow down, I'm losing my breath!" she screamed chasing her brother down the park.
Asad and Zoya were watching their two lovely kids, Mehek and Asif, playing tag at their favorite park.
"Look at them Asad, they're just like us. Remember when we used to come here all the time?" Zoya said smiling at her husband.
"Yeah, those were some good ol' days," Asad replied, returning the smile back.
"Asad! Asad! Wait up, this is no fair! You cheated!" A 7 year old Zoya screamed to her best friend.
"I did not! You just can't run fast enough!" A 8 year old, Asad replied smirking.
"Hmmph! You're so mean!" Zoya said, almost in tears running towards the bench.
Zoya sat down on the bench, silently crying to absolutely no one. Asad felt a pain in his heart seeing Zoya like this. He may be only 8 years old, but he was mature enough to understand the pain of seeing the love of your life crying her heart out.
Asad stood up and sat beside Zoya patting her back.
"Please don't cry Zoya, look I'm sorry." Asad said, hoping Zoya will forgive him.
Zoya did not reply and just continued crying only to let out more sobs.
"Please Zoya! What could I ever do to get you to stop crying!" Asad mumbled.
"Will you do anything?" Zoya said, looking up into Asad's eyes.
Asad couldn't deny after seeing her tear stricken face. She looked sad, yet adorable. How could he say no to an innocent face like that?
"Anything," he whispered.
"Okay then! I want you to..." Zoya yelled with a smile adorning her face, once again.
Asad grinned at seeing Zoya so happy. 'Crazy' he thought to himself.
"Yes! I got it! Asad I want you to say that I am the fastest runner ever!" Zoya said with a cute pout.
"Oh, and that I am faster than you!" She added.
Asad gave Zoya a frustrating look and shook his head in a no.
"Pweeaase!" Zoya begged.
"Alright!" he said, looking at her cute pout.
Zoya smiled and waited for him to continue. Asad pinched his nose, and gave Zoya a helpless look.
"Zoya, you are the fastest runner, even faster than me!" Asad said helplessly.
"Oh, thank you so much Asad!" A grinning Zoya said, hugging her best friend tightly.
Asad hugged back Zoya smiling, a cute blush adorning her face. All the elderly peoples looked at the cute kids hugging each other tightly.
"One day, they will be together and become one, forever," One of the elderly woman said.
Asad heard what the elderly woman said and hope what she said comes true. 'I hope we stay together forever too!' he thought to himself, while blushing.
Who knew kids could blush too?
Zoya and Asad were both broken out of their trance, by the loud screaming of Asif and Mehek.
"Ammi look! Asif dropped pudding on me!!" Mehek yelled crying.
Zaraf and Nikhat (Asad and Zoya's childhood friends), came running to their 8 year old son Asif, looking guilty for dropping the pudding.
"Ammi, Abu I didn't mean it! I dropped it by mistake!" Asif argued.
"It's okay beta. Mehek, Abu will buy you a new shirt, okay!" Asad said.
"Okie Abu, but I want Asif to apologize!" Mehek replied smirking at Asif.
Both parents chuckled at Mehek's statement.
Asif pinched the bridge of his nose, just like Asad. And shook his head at his parents begging him not to do so.
"Asif apologize!" Nikhat said sternly.
"Sorry Mehek.." Asif said looking guilty.
"It's okay! I forgive you!" Mehek said, smiling, hugging her best friend, just like Asad and Zoya did.
"So when's the marriage?" Nikhat said.
"Huh? Who's?" both Asad and Zoya replied at the same time.
Imran chuckled and said, "Asif and Mehek's of course!"
Both parents smirked at their children playing with each other, and smiled thinking about their children's marriage so soon.
"Of course! But first we have to get baby Sehar's consent," Asad said smiling at a blushing Zoya.
"Ah! Right, how could we forget about Sehar!" Nikhat said smiling.
Asad took Zoya to the bench and enveloped her into a tight hug. They parted after a wall, and smiled at each other lovingly.
"So what do you think Sehar's decision is going to be?" Asad said rubbing Zoya's tummy.
"I don't know, we just have to wait and see!" Zoya replied grinning like a fool.
Mehek came and sat on her daddy's lap, resting her shoulder on Zoya's arm.
They looked like a perfect family, just sitting in the corners of Central Park. There was only one waiting, that was for baby Sehar.
"Mummy, when is Sehar coming?" Mehek said innocently.
"Soon beta, very soon!" Zoya whispered, kissing the top of Mehek's forehead, ever so lightly.
The family of 3- soon to be 4, just sat there in each other's embrace. Staring at absolutely nothing, but it all felt just so right.
"I love you Zoya," Asad said entwining his hand with hers.
"I love you too Asad," Zoya replied, resting her shoulder's on Asad.
The picture perfect family, was soon welcomed with a newborn Sehar, and then the family lived happily ever after.

Finally finished the epilogue, I know it was short. I was running out of ideas. NOT PROOF READ.
