CHAPTER-2.
Baldev swam as fast as he could but the strong river current was hindering his movement..
But finally after lot of struggle he managed to reach Veera..His arms tightened round her body just as she was about to drown..
"Mainu bachao..!"She gasped out,still struggling in fear,nearly drowning him in the process..
Water splashed around,as Baldev frantically tried to keep a firm hold on her while staying afloat,but the girl struggled more and more..
Twice,Baldev himself,who was an excellent swimmer,nearly drowned himself as she kept struggling hysterically..
"CALM DOWN!!"Baldev shouted out above the constant splashing of the water..But he might as well have said nothing,as the girl went on struggling hysterically,making him almost loosen his grip on her..
"MAINU..MAINU TAIRNA NAI AATI!"She coughed ,gasped and spluttered out water,as she kept struggling..
Baldev was losing his patience with each passing second,as he tried to get a firm hold on her,while fighting the strong river current at the same time..It was getting impossible for him,as the girl was not calming down at all,making him lose his grasp on her thrice already..
"MAINU BACHA-.."
She could not finish her plea for help,as a highly irritated Baldev,pulled her hard into his arms,and his firm male lips closed over hers,making her muffled scream die in her throat..
She whimpered against his lips,as they softly caressed hers..Gently sucking on them..
As if involuntarily,her arms snaked round his neck,her nails lightly digging into his skin there..
And then she forgot to struggle completely,as the lips caressing hers,slowly became more demanding..
Baldev was completely lost in another world,as his lips caressed hers demandingly now,sucking and licking at their softness..His tongue traced the seam of her lips,as his hand tightened round her waist,while the other pulled her head up,for better access to her lips..
His blood and body heating up at a fast uncontrolled pace..The water lapping around them hardly doing anything to cool him,or his burning passion for this unknown,but highly desirable girl..
He felt she was slipping from his grip,so he quickly made her wrap her jeans clad legs round his waist under the water,,But all the while he did not stop kissing her soft lips,even for fraction of a second..
Baldev kissed her with an undeniable hunger,that he felt for the first time in his life..And though he was holding a girl so close or kissing for the first time in his entire life,there was no awkwardness in the kiss..
Hot jolts passed through his body as,her legs round his waist tightened,and his hold on her waist tightened in response..
Somewhere on the back of his mind,he knew he had to stop this craziness..That they were out in the broad daylight,and anyone from the village could see them..
But Baldev was past caring at that moment..He had only wanted to calm her hysteria,but now it was next to impossible for him to calm his burning passion for her..
He went on kissing her soft juicy lips,as if his life depended on it,and his hand gently squeezed her waist under the water,making her gasp out..
That was when the reality crashed on him,and he instantly pulled his lips way from hers..
Out of breath,he stared into her now glazed eyes..Her soft fair cheeks were now rosy,her full lips swollen due to his kiss,were parted as she breathed heavily just like him..She was staring at him with all the confusion in the world..Confusion that could not hide the slight passion that his kiss had evoked in her..
Baldev was lost in her beautiful eyes,as his eyes took in her wet disheveled state,and her wet and warm body wrapped all around him,was making him lose his sense all over again..
Waters lapped around them as they stared into each other's eyes unblinkingly..Both lost in a new found world of a strange new feeling..Both taken aback and confused by the response to each other..
Slowly without breaking his gaze,Baldev started swimming towards the bank..Firmly holding onto her waist with one hand,while her legs still were wrapped round his waist..
On reaching the bank,he gently pulled her legs down from round his waist,but as she was lost in his eyes,she slipped..Her hands still wrapped round his neck,did not spare Baldev too,as both fell in the grassy bank of the river..
A heaving breathless Baldev on top of a similarly breathless Veera..Their wet bodies plastered to each other,they lay on the ground,as if the for the two of them,the world had stopped right there..
Slowly Baldev got up,and pulled her up too..His arms still tight round her waist..This time holding her firmly to keep her from falling again..All the while his dark eyes burning into her wide ones..
"PRAJI!Aap iththe ho kya?!Wo Surjeet-.."One of Baldev's two constant companions,stood dumbstruck by Baldev's parked car,his mouth literally hanging open,as he noticed a wet Baldev holding a wet girl tight and close in his arms..
The second companion bumped into him,and followed his shocked stare,and as if on queue his jaw hung open in astonishment too..
Both turned to stare at each other,and then back again at Baldev,unable to believe their own eyes..
The first companion,stepped closer trying to see better,and in his curiosity stepped on a fallen branch of tree..
SNAP!!!
That noise was enough to break the trance of the couple..
Baldev and Veera blinked and looked away at the same time,letting go of each other..
Veera turned and gave Baldev a alst strange and confused look,before she whirled round and ran away..
"HEY!WAIT!ATLEAST TELL ME YOUR name.."Baldev said the last part softly,as he saw her vanish round the corner of the path.
He was not finished sighing out,when his two constant companions walked upto him..
"Praji..Wo thi kaun..?"Asked the second companion.
"Mainu pata nai..Par main bhi Baldev hu..Pata lagalunga jald hi.."Baldev said in a soft voice,his eyes still on the bend of the road,where he had last seen her..
"But Praji how will we find out..?We did not even see her face.."Put in the first companion..
Baldev passed an angry look at him..
"Mainu uski surat pata hai wohi kaafi hai..!Soon she will be mine..!"He said softly,touching his lips..Then with an evil smile started walking back towards his car,as his companions followed looking confused..
He had tasted her sweetness,now he wanted more..The thought passed through his mind making his eyes glint with determination..
"Soniye!Tenu to main apna banake hi rahunga!"He softly murmured to himself with a soft chuckle,as he turned on the ignition of his jeep..
Veera ran as fast as she could..Away from the unknown guy..Away from the turmoil of her confused emotions..Away from everything..
Finally she stopped below a tree close to the fields of the village..
She closed her eyes and knelt on the hard trunk..
Her heart thudded loudly as she remembered the hard arms protecting her,and her lips tingled as she remembered that passionate kiss..Never in her life had any guy held her so close,except her brother..But this guy had held her much more closer..No one had ever kissed her too..And that kiss..
Slowly she touched her lips..They were still swollen from the stranger's hot kiss..
What had happened to her over there?!She thought in helpless confusion..
She only knew she needed someone to reassure her..Someone to soothe her suddenly raw and confused emotions..
Finally she opened her eyes..
"Veerji.."She cried out,just before she started running towards her home..
