That's typically Prajakta. Viewers have been told that Prajakta and her husband Chirag, along with their daughters Sawri and Bawri, took off for New York. Now, she's back in the thick of things with Chirag and a new addition to the family.

A new arrival? Wasn't Prajakta a grandmother after Sawri had her baby?

It so happened that both mother and daughter had a child together, so that makes my grandchild and my son the same age! Nothing is impossible for Prajakta, remember? While in the US, she had a son called Hitesh Bajirao.

Hitesh Bajirao? That's some name!

Viewers will recall that the one thing my saas Dakshaben couldn't digest was that her pukka Gujju son had fallen in love with a Maharashtrian girl.

Being a mama's boy, Chirag had given our son the Gujju name of Hitesh, while I insisted on the Maharashtrian name Bajirao. We then settled for Hitesh Bajirao!

Has there been any change in Dakshaben's stance towards Prajakta?

No and there never will. It is all about controlling Chirag. Dakshaben hates Prajakta. Period.
