Awesome analysis as its usual
I think jalal was questioning himself as his heart which he says doesnt exist grrr thinks that Jodha can't insult him ..the same woman who refused to wear the anklet from him as he was her husband cant insult him after writing a letter and calling him..he's questioning his own analysis of jodhas character...so those questions
Also a nice contrast between two sister's one who sacrificed herself for amer and other who elopes and puts her family and sister in danger
Lets see how jodha behaves and whether jalal trusts her

Your analysis is so much better than the epi..I don't really know what to say about it the epi now-a-days!😕
Jo looked lovely in the Mughal joda..and the eyelocks and the payal scene were great to watch! But that's about it...like you said I'm not gonna expect any good Jalal-Jo scene anytime soon now!🥱
We have enough villians without Hakim's mom joining in..lol.😆

. I look forward to your posts. Not only are they very well written but also unbiased.
And, I have to appreciate your patience for continuing to extract out the best and beautifully analyze these ridiculous tracks. Infact, I enjoy the posts more than the actual episode.
I do not understand this obsession of Hindi serial makers with unbearable negativity. I am not an expert on tv shows but my mom who religiously watches most hindi serials( I affectionately call her a walking encyclopedia of indian TV) was the one to first point this out to me. Most serials that begin with a good storyline soon fall into this negativity trap. The villain or vamp, no matter how stupid they are, always win. Their success rate is a ridiculous 100% till the very end.
Why do these serial makers do this? Do they think that the viewers are either sadists or masochists who crave negativity? if they go by trp's , then do they realize that the trps usually don't fall right away...people like me who absolutely don't enjoy watching the current crap, continue to do so for some time hoping for some of the magic of earlier episodes reappear. However, when this pattern is stretched to the limit...we give up and move to another more entertaining program. I may be wrong here but I have heard and read that the trp's of some extremely popular serials gradually dropped after a while when all people saw were miserable and clueless protagonists and stupid( Mahamanga included...I'll explain why in another post) but always successful antagonists. How long can any sensible viewer tolerate this relentless negativity which is obviously not true in case of a historical show like JA. Didn't Mahamanga die within 3-4 months of JA marriage? History geek can probably give us more accurate information but I haven't heard of any elopments of Rajput princesses except Sanyogita... I wonder if the Rajput Kurmi Sena is getting restless again.
If the CVs are showing this because of the success of some other negatively loaded serials in the past ( saas Bahu thi days), then they should realize that this formula has lost its novelty and viewers have more options now. Even the loyal ones will eventually get tired...make themselves fall out of love with Rajat Tokas temporarily and focus on another handsome dude like Ashish Sharma. With a fast paced lifestyle, most people watch evening television for no more than 1-2 hrs. Why not watch something entertaining that doesn't cause frustration.
The CVs need to learn from some long running and balanced foriegn shows. Why do they run for years and still remain popular? Please hire a psychoanalyst who will explain in detail. In case of current hindi serials, the show begins with a bang, becomes popular and then story runs out of steam within 6-8mths. For JA they don't have any excuse for this to happen. A lot happened during Akbar's time. A juicy story is already there. Multiple villains to increase drama quotient are also present . Enough real drama so they dont have to cook up ridiculous tracks. All they need to do is to present the story well. If the current trend continues, the trps will fall eventually. Most people who watch JA enjoy history and/or romance.Right now the show makers are depriving them of both.

Hi,
Even i read her analysis for this reason only. The unbiased approach and clear of any negative commenting on any clan. I also wrote about Karni Sena going restless again, in Mansi's threads, not once but 2 times. They should bash these people now.!. :)
BTW, till date i have not read any daughter of Bharmal eloping.😕, neither any one else who all are researching on them. Infact, its not possible even. Agreed, lot of drama, villains, are already present.

Only, remedy is the "Improvement in Method of Execution" .!. Hope it happens soon..!..

Agreed Mandyg,
😕..
I had a long chat with many friends as well who are researching on this topic. But, none of us have read this issue of elopement till now. BTW, Karni Sena was the FORE-FRONT protestor against this show Jodha-Akbar. I hope you remember Ekta met these people somewhere around mid August, and tried to reach at terms with them. And, there was a rumour that she would change the name of this show. All in all, it was a protest.
Just hoping that today, some 'karishma' happens and save ALL of US, from watching these HORRIFYING sequences..😕

I try to stay away from comments that include a clan or religion. I apologise in advance if I hurt anyone sentiments with this post...also, Inspite of my interest in history, I am certainly not the most well informed person on certain aspects of history. Hats off to history geek. How do you do it? I have sometimes cross checked some of your comments ( the skeptic in me...sorry) and realized that most of the times you are very accurate.
Anyhow, i'll try to answer the question about the Rajput protests when the serial started. Groups like akhil bhartiya Kshatriya mahasabha and Sri Rajput Kurmi Sena were on the forefront. After reading the news articles, I felt that they were afraid that Ekta Kapoor's serial will not justify the history of Rajputs ( I guess she is seen as a good businesswoman but not the best story teller) ... Honestly I haven't seen any of her other shows or movies to be able to corroborate this statement. Most news articles mentioned two things in particular 1. Jodha Bai was not akbar's wife but his daughter- in -law. Don't continue to make the same mistake that a historian made more than a 100yrs ago. 2. Don't show Rajputs in bad light.
To be honest, I didn't care about these protests initially...Probably another group of people looking for camera time. But now I kind of understand their fears. I am familiar with Rajput culture. Even in 21st century, a girl running away on the day of her wedding is considered extremely shameful for the family. I heard of an instance when the father committed suicide after a daughter did something similar. Not that I support the act of the father but it gave me a glimpse of their culture and thinking. Most Rajputs I know consider their ancestors as worriers( just like Spartans, Sikhs, samurais n ninjas)... They feel that compared to the rest of the subcontinent, they gave the toughest fight to the very mighty Moguls. They also consider themselves the most reluctant group when it came to religious conversion thus having a small but significant role in saving Hinduism.. How much of this is true...I don't know. Certainly, we can't generalize things.
But going back to the original protest, I can understand their frustration now. A Rajput princess is shown to be ready to elope in the show...there is no historical data to suggest that this happened. So are they going to blame a Rajput girl for thousands of lives lost as a result of Akbar - Hakim enemity? This is great example of ' blatant distortion of history'...
We as educated and well informed people of 21st century feel completely helpless as this crap is thrust on us. I don't care if it is Rajputs or Mugals, Hindus or Muslims, Akbar or Jodha or even Rukkiya and Mahamanga( the poor women died within 4-5 months of JA marriage...was she playing her evil games from her grave)...no one should be allowed to play this dirty game with history for financial gains...including Ekta Kapoor...she may be well connected so she is getting away with it. Maybe the descendants of Ameri's , the kushwaha Rajputs ( Mugal descendants too if possible) should file a million dollar defamation lawsuit... The only time EK seemed somewhat relenting was when there was a threat that her movie ' once upon a time...blah blah blah' wouldn't be allowed to run in the theaters in Rajasthan. So if financial gain or loss is all they understand then the only but a very difficult route is ' make the trp's fall'... Start a campaign to do so ( I have to admit... It will be hard for me to stop watching completely, but I'll try) ...like the tried and tested Gandhiji's ' non cooperation' movement..it never fails... This will also be a lesson for other historical show makers as well. We wont be doing this for a show... We'll do it to preserve our history.
