Details & Rules Of The Contest

Contest is held separately for each couples - KR, SS & TR.

Participant has to look at the given picture, and write a story upon that. [ P.s : assume the characters in the pic as the protagonists of your story ]

Protagonists of your story shall be - "Kria & Rey" or "Sharon & Swayam" or "Taani & Rey"

Most Important rule :

For KriYaansh story : No using the characters - sharon, swayam, taani in your story.

For SwaRon story : No using the characters - Kria, Reyaansh, Taani in your story.

For TaaRey story : No using the characters - Kria, sharon, swayam in your story.

There will be two categories : 1. Young Love

2. Painful Love

There will be 3 pictures in each category, upon which you have to write your oneshot.

Each category will have prompts you need to follow.

Your oneshot must be of 800 - 1500 words. [ More or Less words will disqualify your entry ]

Deadline for your submissions- 30th January 2014

Please Note : A member is permitted to send only one entry per picture. You can send max 3 entries per category.

You can chose to write on both categories as well!

A member is free to write on multiple couple.

Please include these in your pm along with your story/stories :

• your name,
• number of entries your sending,
• title of your story,
• Category name,
• picture number
• Couple Name

so that it will be easy for us to sort out the entries.

Please send all your entries in one pm only.

Voting round is based on audience poll, so Please refrain from promoting your story anywhere in the forum, or through personal messages. if found your entry will be disqualified. Therefore donot reveal your stories to anyone until results.

You Must Use

1. You must use the word- 'Charmer' in your story.

2. Protagonists [ your fav couple - KR/SS/TR ] must be teenagers.

You Must Not Use

1. Write your story without using the word "Stare" [that includes other tenses of the stare as well]. Synonyms of stare can be used though!

2. No using supernatural/fantasy.

You Must Use :

1. There must be reference to "Romeo" in your story.

2. As the title says, your story must depict the pain in love.

You Must Not Use :

1. Protagonists must not be teens [ ie they must be above 20 yrs of age ]

2. No use of Supernatural/ fantasy.

1. So the writers need to pick ONE category and write on ONE picture from the chosen category?

Ans : No, its left to you. You can chose one category or both. the only rule is that only one story can be written per picture.

2. Reference to word 'charmer' & 'romeo', what does that mean?

Ans : you have to use the word- 'Charmer' in your story for category1

and you have to use the word- 'romeo' in your story for category2.

3. Since it's mentioned no use of other characters except the main protagonists so for example if we need to include taani's brother can we use some other name instead of swayam? or brother is not to be mentioned at all?

Answer : Ofcourse you can use other name instead of swayam or any other characters. rule applies only to those names i have mentioned.

4. Is it allowed to write both young love story n painful love story by one member only?

Answer : yes you may. but only one story per picture :)

5. Can u please elaborate the 3rd pic of young love category .i'm not able to understand what exactly is it depicting.

Answer: well frankly its left to your imagination on how you want see the picture. all i can say is that a couple hugging/kissing in the middle of the road while there are cops around. imagine it anyway you want!

6. Is the synonym of stare allowed?

Answer : yes.

7. Is it necessary that 'reference of charmer' have to be used only for the main protagonists? I mean what if we show them another normal person... not too attractive nor too hideous

Answer: word charmer must be used, anyway or by whomever you want.

8. Is the language mandatory to be english or we can use some hindi words or proverbs if necessary?

Answer: if kept in english better, but you may use hindi words too.

9. Can any member/members of the gang be included?

Answer: yes.

10. Does painful story mean it has to have a bitter end or we can give it a happy ending?

Answer: thats left to you to decide. all it has to show is that - love is painful. thats all :)

11. Is it allowed to include some romance in painful story or some pain in love story?

Answer: Romance is allowed, Pain is must.

12. can we write one story with two pics of same category?

Answer: No you cant. it should be one story on one picture. you can write 3 stories on 3 picture in one category and you are also allowed to write on both categories.
