UV was driving, the three cupids decided to sit in the back,manyata
had no other choice but to sit in the passenger seat ,
Jay unzie nd VB kept giggling nd murmuring like high school teenagers,
which annoyed manyata coz she did heard them saying her name twice or
thrice.

"wat" manyata snapped
"woho grumpy tigress! Sleepy humne neend se jaga diya? tumne apni yeh
adat nahi badli?? U still love ur beauty sleep" teased UV
"uday rasta dekho..first of all i dnt understnd why u wanted to drive
wen u hav least concentration on driving" hissed manyata
UV laughed at manyata
"stop laughing uday ."growled manyata
"y princess u dnt like me happy" asked UV
"no"she snapped
"jhooottt" the trio sang in unison
"shut up all of u" snapped manyata
She took the bottle nd drank,
A little later UV took the bottle frm her and drank water frm it
"uday wo humara jhoota hai"said manyata
"koi baat nhi princess kisine kaha tha jo humara wo tumhara, jo
tumhara wo humara..." manyat glared at him

"calm down tigerr humey pyaasa marne ka irada hai kya"he asked
"i wish uday" she gritted her teeth
"aish! No chance princess, humey pata tha apke irade nek nahi tabhi
hum apni safety ka dhyaan rakhte huwe unnati jay aur vijaay banna ko apne
saath le aaye hai"he smirked
"rot in hell" she turned away seeing outside frm window ..she decided
to keep quiet even after UV teased her
UV kept taking her glances
She was resting her head on dark tinted window pane nd fell asleep
Her hair playing with wind her bangs kept disturbing cute little pouty
face ...she went to sleep angry he smiled at her innocence which was
still alive in her

She kept ignoring their banter...she rested her head on the tainted
window glass n closed her eyes...n for change she drifted to sleep
easily. She felt protected and relaxed around them or may be it was
uday who brought peace to her grieving heart

Uday. Looked at her to find her peacefully sleeping her face was calm
n relaxed for a change which brought smile to his face he placed a
little cushion beneath her neck so dat she dsnt sprain her neck nd
strt being her old self. He asked unnati jay n Vb to be a little alert
with their voices they agreed
The trio smiled at uday n manyata

Uday had his eyes on her sleeping face
" uday hume lagta hai vijay bhai ko driving karni chahiye...aap to
busy hai " trio giggled at jay's comment .uday was embarrased at being
caught
"Jay...i can drive u ppl safe n sound ...after all i cannot let any
harm cum to my princess...u all should b thnkful to her " said uday
which bought him playful hits curses frm the trio
Just then manyata phone rang n she woke with a jerk as if she was
pretending sleep
"Why is she so restless.." thought uday
"Hello ...yes..yes..no not possible m out of city ..thnk u but
everything is fine...its just a personal commitment i ve to fulfill
,thnk u rudr i appreciate ur concern"spoke manyata on phone

Uday hav been listening to her convo ...the name rudr caught his interest

" i...we'll be der ..no i just wanted ud..mr. singh to go through the
project before we finalise it" she looked at uv frm the corner of her
eyes
"Thnk u. Mr rathore we'll get bck to u wen we are back..bye" she ended the call
"I suppose it was rudr..."asked uv
"Hmm " she nodded
"And ..." he asked
"He wanted us to finalise ...dd..dehradun project.."she replied looking out
" y ? I guess you hav finalised everything..then y delay ? " asked uv
"I wanted you to be equally aware n participated in every wrd related to this
project" she replied
And der was an awkward silence settled
" uday can u plzzz stop the car i ve a quick call to make pretty plzz
uday" pleaded jay
"Jay cant it wait we are in the middle of the highway ...we cannot
stop to make a call"stated manyata
"Jiji plzzz its quiet urgeenttt"
"Its okay princess we can make lil stop "said uday
Uday stopped at corner of the road
"Uday this is highway not ur garage...vehicles comes speeding...i dnt
even get y are we actually travelling by road wen we can go by
chopper...its not a silly picnic...due to one carelesness ppl may
loose their life"manyata barked
Uday was confused at her outburst
Jay finished her call n they resumed their journey in silence

They reached jaigarh in the late afternoon they were welcomed by their
praja who waiting for the arrival of their yuvraj n yuvrani sa
Uday n manyata greeted their ppl who were rather elated seeing their
crown prince n his princess after years
After a long greeting they headed to mahal where purohit ji was
waiting for their welcome as this was the first manyata would be
entering as bahu

After all the rituals were done everyone retired to their rooms
...manyata stood stairing at life size portrait of maharani vasundhra
..she didnt blink her eyes once the portrait itself was grand in its
own meaning it depicted life ,power ,grace n strength . Even her
portrait hav the same aura wat she carried during her life tym
Manyata eyes strtd brimming with water due to the long stare
"Princess" his voice brought her out of trance
She blinked couple of tyms n didnt let the salty water escape her eyes
"Yes uday" something in her voice gave out she was hollow all over
again which pierced his heart
"Excuse me"she walked towards the staircase
"Tumhara room wahan hai"he pointed towards only bronze door at the
left side of the hall
"Par wo room...tu"he nodded no
"Just go princess hav rest we hav yagn to perform by evening" she took
baby steps towards the room ..she stopped at the door looked back at
him who smiled distantly at her ..she took a deep breath nd opened
the door

She stepped into the room nd felt her heartbeats at race
Not a single thing changed in this room all these 7 years
She faced her left wall which was filled with her vasundhara arav n uday pic

~FlashBack~
"Mumma this is my room. Apke adopted son ko kaho ki yahan meri hi pics
hongi"said manyata to vasundhara who was smiling at both the kids
"Mom ye humara room hai jaigarh k yuvraj ka...iss ugly duckling ka
nahi" spated uday
"Ermm uday language!" Corrected vasundhara
Manyata smirked at uday
"Mom u cannot take her side ..u are my mom ...n u let her select the
color of my room nd look at the room its all girly nd dat wacko dsnt
even like pink" uday growled
"No she is my mumma u moron stop claiming her adopted kid. Nd pink has
became my favoritesttt color" she replied happliy
"There is no such wrd devil...nd frm wen is ur fav color is pink?"he
asked gritting his teeth
"Frm the tym mumma let me choose the color for this room"she sticked
out her tongue
He waited for few minutes then ran to call his favorite aunty
"Manyata stop annoying udayveer"said komal
"Mumma "cried out manyata
"Okay okay how about u both get to select the color for this room n
decorations aswell...but u both hav to agree with each other okay ..nd
no fighting"said vasundhara
Manyata n uday half heartedly agreed with solution
"Blue"said uday
"Green" said manyata
"Golden"dropped arav who was witnessing their fight for a long tym
"Perfect" said both ladies before they can get into another arguement
"Aarav i really wish u were only child without the ugly duckling as
tail " uday scowled at manyata
"I heard it jerk..let me remind u ,i m angel to finish off the devil
frm the earth named udayveer"manyata replied with her nose high
They finished decorating room ..uday wanted a peaceful room manyata

N the left wall was filled wid manyata pics she allowed uday 3 pics of
his considering it was HIS room

She sucked in long air ,


There was huge pic of manveer above the headboard, uday smiling
charmingly at the camera ..manyata winking
She walked towards the couch n was surprised to find her first
painting. Gracing the wall illuminated by lights which brought life to
the painting. 'The life' as she named it .a long wheat field nd two
hands holding each depicting promise togetherness n victory

~flashback~
"Daata humey street children k education k liye kuch karna hai"said 15
yr old manyata
"Sure beta we will sponsor their education"replied brijraj smiling at manyata
Dadisa ,komal,brijraj,vasundhra,giriraj were smiling at manyatas
thoughtfulness at such a tender age wer normal kids wanted to be
pampered themselves manyata was thinking about her 'other friends'
She looked at uday who nodded at her than at aarav who just assured
her smiling at her
"Humey khud se kuch karna hai dadisa..."said manyata
"Khud se?"asked dadisa
"Dadisa hum apne best possesions auction karna chahte hai"replied manyata
"Auction par kyun ?" Asked surprised dadisa
"Dadisa humlog itne priviliged hai ki humey bahut kuch milgaya without
earning anything..par bahut aise underpriviliged log hai bahut mehnat
karte hai par unhe wo nhi milta jo wo sach main deserve karte hai...nd
auction isiliye kyunki auctions main log shauk k liye bid karte hai
without seeing its profit or loss ...auction karne se sab ka bhogdaan

All the elders were speechless at her wrds
"Ye..idea kiska hai manyata"asked br

"Ye idea twino aur uday ka ..hum sirf issey pooch rahe hai kyunki
humey daata ne kuch bhi maangne ka wada kiya tha"said manyata
Elders were spellbound at their thoughts ...true both the estates were
in right hands ..kids who can think about ppl welfare before anything
make a true ruler
Dadis was proud seeing her childrens who will make great kings in future
Giriraj n brijraj were overwhelmed at their childrens selflessness nd
business ideas komal n vasundhara. Held their heads high with pride
for giving birth to such kids who are still connected to earth nd are
responsible adults of tomorrow
Dadisa allowed them auction their possession one of them was manyatas
first painting
Auction was successful na the devgarh n jaigarh kids were able to
raise funds for education for underpriviliged
Manyata knew her painting was sold at the lowest bid coz of ameteur
painting skills..

Uday PoV
Uday never wanted manyata to part away frm her painting coz he knew it
was close to her heart nd she had emotions connected to her painting
but she let it for auction to raise funds ...he lawfully made a bid
asking help frm one of those loyal wrkers of jaigarh as he was
underaged for bidding nd cannot take part in bidding as he was one of the sponsor ...he bought the painting frm his saved pocket
money *he did save pocket money he was a responsible kid* though
painting was the lowest sold article for him it was priceless nd frm
dat day he held painting as his greatest possession

~present~
Manyata nd uday performed the yagna as couple after dinner they all retired to beds after long tiring journey ...

Manyata kept tossing n turning in bed she was restless she walked to the balcony and sat on the floor holding her knees close to her she kept staring at the twinkling stars which was one of her obsession in her childhood ..yes manyata had a huge obsession with stars she was distracted with a sound she turned to her left and saw UV watching her she asked what raising her eyebrows .. he nodded no he gestured is his hands asking y aren't u sleeping ..she replied pointing towards sky ..UV made "o" understanding her gesture..he gestured her to wait nd he jumped and grabbed sumthing like he was grabbing the star in his fist and blew at her way ..she smiled at him.. and mouthed thank you and gestured him to go back to sleep as she is going ..hey both went to sleep smiling

Next morning

Even before sun had appered manyata was out ..sky still had hues of violet and pink ..she wrapped her hand around herself welcoming the cool breeze she stopped her bodyguards and said she wamts to hav sum tym alone they agreed

She walked towards the stable..yes her most fav place in jaigarh

It was a breathtaking huge yard ,vasundhra put her heart n soul into creating boxed stable and beautifully crafted sheds

Seeing the view her lips twitched on its own ..their Sultan was dancing around in the field running circles and throwing his head back ,whinning in joy .His golden coat glinted wen he moved,his white mane trailing behind him like flag..the sights caused a grin spread across her face..

Manyata walked towards fence and smiled seeing her fav ambur,her eyes glued on ambur,she was gorgeous horse she had bay coat.

Ambur never let strangers around her..the only ppl who she allowed around her was vasundhara nd manyata.

Manytaa heard a sigh and turned to her left to meet his eyes, he squinted his eyes at manyata the sun started to rise causing the light to bend around his eyes and making them seem darker.A purple ring could be seen around the edge of them when the light shone dat waym ,makinf them all unusual

She turned back facing ambur

"she reminds me of you " UV remarked,looking bck at ambur, manyat was taken aback and didn't knw wat to say so she frowned

"Wa...t do u mean?" She stammered out ,the corner of his lips quirked
"headstrong, but broken she just needs a little bit of care,ill have
her up and running"he assured,his eyes flickering upto her

" im NOT" she hissed and walked towards ambur pampering her she gave carrots to ambur who gulped in seconds and saddled her

She ignord him and mounted on ambur

They both silently lead towards the woods , the lights was still dim ,making the bushes seems like night lights against the drk areas.The only sound to be heard were those of horse hooves nd small animals rustling around the trees

The reached the flat ground

"tym for race ?" UV asked cocking his head to the side gesturing towards the start of the course manyat raised her eyebrow at him

"you'll loose" manyat warned only to gain a grin from him

"wanna bet? " he asked

"winner can ask for anything"manyata offered and he chuckled

"sure" he agreed

Manyata grabbed the reigns ,giving him a sideway look

"good luck uday" manyat mocked and he smirked, sitting up in the saddle na raising an eyebrow

"same to u sweetheart" UV voice was smooth n soft as he held his hand out for a shake. Manyat couldn't bring herself put her hand in his so just gave a nod, UV didnt comment but looked hurt when he turned back to looking down the hill at the course .

It was pretty long ..not as long as ones in the competitions but definitely gud for a long race

"right on ur marks: UV started

Manyat leaned forward, clenching the reins

"get set" manyata added , UV looked at her with a sly grin

"go" he yelled immediately setting off

Passing the finishing line was a close call , ambur just behind sultan as they halt.

UV nd manyat walked ambur and sultan over the water buckets

"you knew the course" manyta sniffed

"so do u " he replied

Manyat ignored him taking the smell of the woods,the mud and pollen , UV chuckled , the sound echoed around them
