Shantanu Maheshwariand Vrushika Mehta better known as Swayam and Sharon from Channel V's longest running show Dil Dostii Dance, complete 1 successful year as the extremely popular on screen couple SwaRon! Sourlremoved gets candid with them to know more about their wonderful experiences together!
What has your experience been like working together?
Shantanu: It's been great working with Vrushika who is a very sweet and hard working girl. As I have said before too, she has really evolved well as an actor and is just doing great!
Vrushika: I enjoy working with Shantanu who is very supportive, encouraging and nice. Always very comfortable to be around too! And yes of course a very good actor.
How does it feel to complete 1 year as SwaRon?
Shantanu: It actually feels the same to me! (Laughs). But yes it is a great feeling that SwaRon has done so well and the love and appreciation from our fans is overwhelming!
Vrushika: For me it's a great feeling! I never thought I would be able to pull of Sharon's role, but yes i did and it just feels awesome! I would love to thank Palki Ma'am and the entire team for encouraging me to go this far.
How well do you'll both get along?
Shantanu: Vrushika and I get along very well. We are always in sync with each other, and enjoy a lot when shooting together. It has been great working with her as I mentioned before.
Vrushika: I get along pretty well with Shantanu and we have some good fun while shooting. He also always gives me a lot of chocolates, specially the 5 stars that we receive as gifts since I just love them!
Any fun moments spent together on set?
Shantanu: Aaah, now there are so many fun moments we've shared together on set that it is impossible to name one. We all have fun together like every single day!
Vrushika: Ha we toh have fun everyday only. But there was this one time in one of the scenes where I was made to sleep on a chair, and so when I shut my eyes Shantanu put a slipper in front of my face! And then I just got up because of the smell and everybody was laughing. The prank had been recorded too. So ha aise fun pranks toh hote rehte hain.
Favourite Swaron dance?
Shantanu: Chokra Jawan Re, Aiyvayi Aiyvayi and Pehla Nasha!
Vrushika: Yaadein and Maula Mere Maula.
