Work together but SRK and Aamir Or Salman and Aamir can't? Do they not have producers that can afford two superstars? Or is it just ego problem?

It's an ego thing. Like calmess said, in Bollywood you don't have actors you have stars. They all hate eachother because they resent any challenges to their status as the 'biggest' star.

I was just thinking about Naseeruddin Shah's hatred towards Amitabh. Naseer is the better actor no question about it, but his claim that Amitabh is a non-actor betrays the fact that he is jealous of Amitabh's star status. As much as I hate Amitabh and would like to say he can't act for shit, the truth is he is an excellent actor and in his younger days was so charismatic on screen that he almost always managed to steal the scenes he was in.

In Bollywood no one is willing to genuinely praise any of their contemporaries because as far as they're concerned there is no one better than them.

The fans are to be blamed for this, stupid idiotic fans who start worshiping their favourite stars, putting them on a pedestal, calling them 'ji', 'sir', and 'saab'. For heavens sakes they are nothing special, stop feeding their egos.

In Hollywood most actors seem to share a genuine comraderie with oneanother. They don't live in eachothers pockets, but they're civil and friendly, and most importantly when questioned always have genuinely nice things to say about eachother; instead of spouting a load of overly respectful drivell that makes them sound like spineless and fake suck ups.

Brad Pitt, and Tom Cruise worked together in the past, and are rumoured to star in a movie together in 2014. Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom got on like a house on fire during POTC. The entire Avengers, and LOTR's cast got on insanely well despite all of them being in demand A-listers.

Johnny Depp/Robert Downey Jr; Tom Cruise/Will Smith, Jim Carey/Ewan Mcgreggor. Acting giants like Peter O'toole/Richard Harisson, Ian Mckellan/Patrick Stewart, Robert Deniro/Al Pacino, etc are either best friends, or known to get on famously well.

Having friendships like that is impossible in Bollywood because all the stars are in love with themselves too much.

Having ensemble casts akin to the cast of LOTR's, Avengers, X-men, Harry Potter, Expendables, Towering Inferno, Bobby, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, the oceans series, even hairspray is also impossible in Bollywood. It has nothing to do with money, and everything to do with each star believing they should be the biggest star on campus.

It's all about Ego w/ BW stars.
