Mate I am serious, none of the film he has done with Hrithik are great. They are just good time pass entertainers.

Apart from that , Kishen Kanhaiya, Khudgarz and Karan Arjun are his hits, I have watched all three films.. I have only liked Khudgarz, it was only a good film though.

I doubt he would have said the same thing if HR wasn't a decent actor with star power. He may be a biased father but - like others have pointed out - it makes financial and business sense too. For instance, I can't imagine the late Yash Chopra saying the same thing about Uday Chopra!

Agreed. Couldn't connect with him in the film at all. In fact the film in itself was underwhelming but Hrithik disappointed me the most.
