Yeh rishta kya Kehelata hai is an Indian television drama that started on the 12th January 2009 on star plus. The show, which focuses on the daily happenings within the household of an Udaipur family, it is produced by Rajan Shahi's. This show appears on star vijay, dubbed into tamil and broadcast as Uravugal Thodarkathai.
This program comes from Monday to Friday at 9:30 pm to 10.00. Many people likes the show, since the story is of love finding its way after an arranged marriage and how two people bond and blossom together after entering into scared ties of matrimony.
It was replaced by the show Bidaai; I feel that the show will not focus neither on negative drama nor negative characters. It would be about sweet and joyous moments in the lifeof a married couple. I feel proud that Yeh Rishta kya kehelata hai has given a lot to the people. The big achievement of Yeh rishta is that the entire unit does not treat this show that they to to come and work and go. Hina Khan- which is known as Akshara Singhania as Natik wife and a mother to a son in, is an Indian actress and model. She is the best known for role in star plus serial Yeh rishta Kya kehelata hai for which she has won 18 awards including Star parivaar Awards, new Talent Awards, and Indian telly awards. In the year 2009 she has won the best Yogiya Jodi Award, Best Naya Sadasya Award (Female) and the best new actor in a lead role (female) Award.

Karan Mehra- Is known as Natik singania which plays a role of a husband to Akshara and a father to Naksh Singania and a son to the Singania family. He is an Indian Television Actor, model and a fashion designer. As Karan his family supported him the most which got him this far. However nobody from his family belongs to the Tv industry. Recently he is married to Nisha Rawal. He was seen in a movie Called Love Story 2050 as Herman Beweja's friend. After that, He started doing Modeling and that helped him a lot to enter in TV commerecials. In 2009, He entered Yeh rishta Kya kehelata hai as the male lead. He has participated in famous dance show Nach Baliye 5 and Nach Baliye Shriman/ Shrimati along with his wife Nisha Rawal. He was also won the awards in 2009 to 2013
