Do Dil Ek Jaan Written Update for January 10th, 2014: The dilemma of unanswered questions
Episode continues with Vedika leaving and then in her room, thinking about Vedant. Suddenly, she hears Satya yelling at Manhoar when he speaks against his order. Satya reminds him to only follow order. Manohar reluctantly agrees and asks why he cannot come to the meeting. Satya puts him down and asks him to do venerations, as he's growing old and he should act his age. He turns to see Vedika. He asks her to come with him tomorrow. The later says she does not want to and Satya grants her wish, but asks her to remain at home only.
She questions if she can leave for music classes. Satya tells her to ask Vedant to come to the house instead. After leaving, she goes to the terrace to look at the opposite house. Inside, Geeta calls Vedant and questions him of his progress. He assures her that everything is fine and that he is going to their house tomorrow for classes. Just then, he hears Vedika playing the violin. He ends the call and goes towards the balcony to see her.
Vedika smiles but he does not reply and leaves, closing the door behind. She is confused. Inside the house, Vedant sees the mouth organ and tells himself to control his feelings as he has a purpose for coming here and he cannot let himself get distracted.
Next morning, Satya again tries to convince Vedika to accompany him. She tells him he is getting old and that she would get bored with nothing to do if she comes. He suggests she can sit in the car and listen to music. She agrees it to be a good idea, but still refuses to go. He gives in and gives her a number to call in case of an emergency. She assures him that it's her house and no one can dare hurt her. He leaves, asking her to stay safe.
Vedika is deciding what the wear and take time dressing up for the violin classes. After taking her photo, she admires Vedant's photo. Just then, he comes and calls her. She rushes to him and then questions about his action last night and leaving without telling her how she was playing. Upon no reply, she says they shall eat before class. He refuses, saying he is here to teach her how to play violin, not waste his time like this, when she offers him pasta. She is upset and annoyed, much to his pleasure. He then questions why she is crying and asks him to leave, but stops him, saying he cannot leave without answering her previous question.
Manjari enters. Unaware to them, she questions why is he always rude to her and takes a step closer. They go in a trance and he wipes her tears. She tells him he can't leave without answering her questions. He asks her to stop crying, as she holds his hand. She questions why she is hurt while he confesses he too is hurt. Eye-lock continues and he gets closer. Just then, Manjari enters and he takes a step away from Vedika.
Vedika questions her and taunts that is she here to keep an eye on her. Manjari questions if she is doing something that she should have the need to keep an eye on her. Vedika is irritated. Manjari informs her that Satya has asked her to get dressed as guests are coming to see her and that Satya has chosen a groom for her. She is stunned.
Next episode: Vedika confesses her love to Vedant.
