"We are products of our past, but we don't have to be prisoners of it."
Rick Warren, The Purpose Driven Life: What on Earth Am I Here for?
The above written quotes reminded me of Kalindi...the mother who still lives in her past and is letting her past control her present and her relations. She is so scared and worried that the past will repeat itself that she is not giving Astha and breathing space. The past's hold on her also makes her a woman of extremes and one who does not know that sometimes it is better to take a step back. Earlier she used to give Astha complete freedom regarding what she wants to do and now she is doing exactly the opposite. The former to some respect contributed to Astha landing in this situation and I wonder what will the latter result in? Hope it will be something that will be good for her daughter and nor something that will break her daughter more. Today she openly said that she will not even listen to Astha but is suffocating Astha the only way? Can't there be a middle way? I am not saying that what Kalindi is doing is wrong. I would have been more open of her decision if instead of saying that she does not want the past to repeat itself, she had said that she wants Astha to break the bonds because she does not want anyone to take advantage of Astha's fragile state of mind. Since this is not her life and Astha is not her, what might have been right decision for her might not be for Astha. Anyone who sees Astha can guess that she is not in her right mind...she is extremely confused and heartbroken. Hopefully the mother and daughter will come out of this quagmire that they have landed in with their bond unbroken. Unfortunately there is someone who can make use of situations created by Kalindi's fear for his own benefit.
"Boy, you knock on the devil's door and he will head slam you through the wall."

While Kalindi is pressuring Astha for divorce, Avdhut wants to give his daughter some breathing space and wants her to be independent and to have her own life. Avdhut is not wrong in wanting to let his daughter breath and to allow her to make her own decisions. Simiar to Kalindi he also needs t be bit careful because he has also signed a deal with a devil who has also reassured him that he will take care of everything. Avdhut usually does not over ride Kalindi's decisions and tries to talk to her to resolve issues. But can situations be created that might bring Avdhut and Kalindi against each other and what will happen to the family and Astha if that happens.
Broken dreams are not dead, they just need some rebuilding and belief!
Broken dreams are not the end of the road. They are the beginning of new dreams and a new direction in life.
Astha is trying to trying to rebuild her life and following her father's advice has started looking out for jobs. Unfortunately this is something that is easier said than done because the main obstacle in her path is the addition of Agnihotri behind her name. She gets a job only to realize that the company has contacts with the Agnihotri's and Shloke is adamant that she cannot work outside their company? So can she work in Agnihotri concern? By the way Astha becomes alive when she is around Shloke as if he is in some way the oxygen that she needs to breath. On returning home following her mother's cues she decides to sign the divorce paper like a zombie. Before signing she remembers her dream...that came to fulfillment with the temple wedding and the day it got brutally shattered by Shloke. Lost in her own world she signs the divorce paper as Astha...not Kirloskar or Agnihotri...just Astha. She is completely confused and does not know where does she belong so she just signs it with her own identity...that is her name without the surname. Astha also means faith or belief...hope she has not signed her faith or essence away and hope that signing her name as Astha might also mean that from now her journey based on her self-belief starts. Astha gets a jolt when the lawyer after speaking to Shloke says that he is ready to grant Astha what she wants...well the words were not exactly what I have written. Shloke told the lawyer that he will sign the divorce paper if that is she wants. The lawyer did not tell Astha all of this and Astha only heard that Shloke is happy to divorce her and completely heartbroken she goes up the stairs with the song khwabh jo pyare in the background. By the way Astha wants something that is completely different...will Shloke give her that if that is the only way he can bring her home? Astha keeps on telling him using different sentences that she won't come because he hates her. Is it that difficult for baby bear to figure out?
A guy is a lump like a doughnut. So, first you gotta get rid of all the stuff his mom did to him. And then you gotta get rid of all that macho crap that they pick up from beer commercials. And then there's my personal favorite, the male ego.😉
Roseanne Barr
Need I say anything more about baby bear? He had a very interesting expression when his sister came rushing and told him that Astha loves him and he also did not protest when she said that he also loves her. Like a nice boy with some token protest he was being nicely "pulled" by his sister to Astha's house. By the way has Jyoti spoken to Varad about the plane tickets that Shloke needs to have to reach Astha's house? 😉 He looked hurt when the lawyer told him about the divorce paper but then the hurt got turned into a determined look and anger. Wonder what is cooking in his brain?
The rest...Jyoti is fighting her own battle and also fighting for Astha and Shloke's relationship. I didn't like hearing about her not being well. By focusing on Abhay it was shown that he is going to be the one who is going to see to it that Astha and Shloke are not going to be together. Who is ultimately going to reap the benefit? Neeranjan?

Myra perfect song for Astha. The episode starts with ashta being pressured by her mother in accepting to end her relationship with shlok forever and her father actually asking her do do as she wishes, she cannot stand being cornered like this and she goes running to her room.Kalindhi has good intentions but her way of taking action is wrong as she sees herself in this situation more than her daughter,True she is reacting to her past i can understand that her past marked her but ashta has the right to decide for herself when to end a relashionship where she put all her dreams. one day isnt enough to erase dreams. Today it was Ashtas day, it was her pain and helplessness shown, she tries to move on but where ever she goes she finds him..will she ever live in peace without Agnihotri name being taken Even if she does not go anywhere she has someone in her heartAt the white house jyothi runs in like a lightening tto make her lil brother get back with his wife, if she wasnt lucky to have hapiness in her life atleast her brother could live his love story..i truly liked her courage to go against abhay orders to fix shloks life, shes scared but that didnt stop her.. Jyothi is aware he needs some moral she even offered to go with him to convince ashta, was it me or she mentioned daddy too, that he should get ashta for her and for neeranjan"s sake..smart woman, she knows that mentioning neeranjan will make him take a decision. She did mention daddy...they all know that the word daddy will do the trick. Varad said to call Astha for him and daddy and Jyoti said to come with her for her and daddy.Jyothi also says Ashta truly loves him and that gets his attention , he is listening quietly, and that she knows hje loves her too, she has seen it in his eyes, at this sentence smth flickers in his eyes like saying: How did she know it? I really liked their scene, when she barged in his study he was worried for her and she was in a hurry to help him..what a lovely pair Jyoti does have a heart of goldSojal sees jyothi and ruins the lovely scen by calling abhay, oh sojal u are digging ur own hole by working for this snake, he comes in a jiffy all decided to dragg her out but slows down when he sees her with shlok, grr, when i see shlok so quiet with abhay it makes me wanna whack him, i really want him to do smth for his sister..get her out of that mad man's hands before its too late. daddy says no so Shloke won't do it.Anywho, it seems that jyothi s words worked and he indeed goes off to fetch ashta. well Jyotii did not have to work that hard..Ashta is shown checking her laptop for jobs..hmm, this laptop is a black one, where is her white one?, and she already has to interviews?! her daddy is very happy for her and wishes her th best, i liked that ashta is really taking her fathers advice and move on.. but what she finds later on ruins her plan, the company who offers the job is some how one of the pups who kiss neeranjans feet and imediatly calls his master to let him know what is his bahu doing..Shlok comes to that office and calls Ashta..like he owns, the angry look never leaving his face, ashta decides to not accept the job anymore but mr shlokie is very angry that she even tried to harm HIS😉 name and his dads name by seeking a job in other company, oopsie daisy daddy is on the second spot again😉 But will he have problem if Astha workd in their concern? Shloks shakes her a bit grabbing her hands, seriously he has some fetish for her arms😆 and she runs off from him saying she still wants a job..she still wants to move on..he wants to touch her 😉At home the bomb is dropped by her mother who seems that has called the lawyer since last night, coz thats the only explanation for him to have the papers ready so quickly..poor thing is devasted and is remebering their first marriage, him puttin the mangalsutra on her and then the SR when he ripped the same mangalsutra, at thesame time she signs the paper with waterworks running down her face😭 her dreams...her life is closely linked to her dream. She looks like she signed her death sentence..she looks lshatered.. the lawyer calls shlokie and he agrees but doesnt say the word divorce.. he seemed like agreeing with smth that he was thinking of😉remember shlokie has his own style of solving problems and we saw a glimpes of it in the precap😉With the lawyers words ashta bcomes completly lifeless and goes from there climbing stairs and saiyya vee plays.. lyrics saying smth abt love's end and tears? do correct me here..its about dreams breaking and the broken dreams come out as tears from eyes.Anywho, i simply loved how the scene was shot, from different angles, showing a picture on the wall with a happy ashta, then the camera goes underthe stairs showin herbroken..really beautiful..Acting wise today i loved Shrenu and the actress who plays Jyothi..Yes...
"We are products of our past, but we don't have to be prisoners of it."
Rick Warren, The Purpose Driven Life: What on Earth Am I Here for? Misti am liking more the title than the quote😆 More than kalindi it makes me think abt Shlok.mr shlokie sure is asking this question everytime he has a date with his best buddy the bottle of whiskey..even yday he asked himself what is he doing exactly on the road, crying after ashta or taking a tan uderneath varads car's head lights😆The above written quotes reminded me of Kalindi...the mother who still lives in her past and is letting her past control her present and her relations. She is so scared and worried that the past will repeat itself that she is not giving Astha and breathing space. The past's hold on her also makes her a woman of extremes and one who does not know that sometimes it is better to take a step back.Thats right, i felt for kalindi, it seems she suffered very much in the past but unwilingly shes harming her daughter in her try to actually protect her.Earlier she used to give Astha complete freedom regarding what she wants to do and now she is doing exactly the opposite. The former to some respect contributed to Astha landing in this situation and I wonder what will the latter result in? Hope it will be something that will be good for her daughter and nor something that will break her daughter more. Now seriously avdhoot is very near to the edge, i hoep he takes a look back on what he is losing.
Broken dreams are not dead, they just need some rebuilding and belief!
Broken dreams are not the end of the road. They are the beginning of new dreams and a new direction in life. Love this one, its for ashta definetly

See, the boy isnt so bad he is helping ashta survive by stalking her.On returning home following her mother's cues she decides to sign the divorce paper like a zombie. Astha gets a jolt when the lawyer after speaking to Shloke says that he is ready to grant Astha what she wants...well the words were not exactly what I have written. Shloke told the lawyer that he will sign the divorce paper if that is she wants. Astha keeps on telling him using different sentences that she won't come because he hates her. A guy is a lump like a doughnut. So, first you gotta get rid of all the stuff his mom did to him. And then you gotta get rid of all that macho crap that they pick up from beer commercials. And then there's my personal favorite, the male ego.oh this one is hillarious and very true😆😆 Shlokie El Macho🤣

@myra i loved the song lyric you highlighted.thanks I am sure that kalindi is right but still i think she is a bit forceful.A bit more I loved the last scene too, absolutely brilliant and yes, its shrenu's best scene till date. I loved the total pain in avi's eyes too when he switch off phone. These too are just awesome.may be he will break something off and hurt his fist?He does hit things in anger but this time i think it will b in ashtas presence, to create a bit of drama😛
i told u yesterday that shloke baby has no other option but has to accept his feelings ,thats the only way out for him😉 ,today's episode just proved it ,moreover it is going to the point that he has to accept his 'feelings' to astha & to his momy-in-law also 😎 (which is going to be veryyy hard)
