When his cousins tease him that there is your bride coming down the aisle so to speak and he all the while stunned at his good fortune and dreaming of a new life with this beauteous lass that he seems to have fallen in love at first sight that he could call his own is slightly taken aback/stunned over their flippant attitude and says why do you say that? Call her Bhabhi! I so loved his dialogue
In other words she is your sister in law /my wife but for them the bride was just a prototype popping out from a factory conveyor belt as a cover for their nefarious operations all this while ready to be used abused and discarded as seen fit as per the circumstances but for him it was someone who was going to be special to him and his family as such and that makes all his dreams and words that much poignant for Paro and he would have been ideal but then we don't live in an ideal world do we?
He was brought in blindfolded that I think serves as a clear symbolism that he too is like a goat being lead to the slaughter He is unaware of that he is a pawn for all he wanted was a family of his own He is an orphan grateful his uncle is arranging his wedding He never saw the lecherous looks of his uncle nor the slimy anticipation of monetary gain of his cousins All he thought was his chance to start a family that was his alone and who he could call his own Mhara Parvathi! What a beautifully enacted emotion by Vishal Gandhi
So wonder what will happen when Rudra also decides to call her that Now that would be a scene worth salivating
His dreams die and she will try to die to join him in their dream of a life together but fail!
And oh yes he has to be real for Rudra's jealous obsession to work for he Rudra will be the one to fall in love deeply madly and obsessively with Paro for if Varun where to have even a shade of grey then the Paro Rudra story stands on marshy grounds and subject to the old run of the mill formula of the damsel in distress being rescued from a fate worse than death by the hero
My hope is that the PH will stick to the original story line and let it unfold and not get spooked over TRP for this is a story that deserves to be explored without the hype for it will serve as harbinger of a new breathe to soap operas but then again I am just dreaming like Paro for Indian audience laub only hype over marriage on going marriage and post marriage shenanigans and egads here we have to watch a newly married woman end up being a widow at the hands of the male lead AIYOO!!!!! 😲
