How different are the two worlds of Rudra & Paro? Today's episode showed us that it possibly couldn't be any more different.

Paro- The innocent little girl, who is being drawn into the dream of love, marriage, husband, family, domesticity & a happily ever after.

Rudra- Cold, ruthless, one who wouldn't think twice before shooting someone down. His actions are governed by his aggression towards life, and a sense of hatred towards anything & everything.

When their worlds finally collides, will they be able to co-exist in harmony or will it be a matter of survival of the fittest?

Highlight of today's episode-
When Paro asks Lord Shiv why her betrothed doesnt share one of the many names of Lord Shiv.

As they would say, be careful for what you ask for. Very careful.

Awesome as always...!!!!🤗
They wont destroy each other! They will be each other's salvation...they will complete each other , as Shiv Parvati do. She doesnt need to be careful in wishing for Rudra. In her deepest subconscious mind, she probably knows/feels that Parvati can belong only to Shiva. He doesnt shoot without thinking. He gave kesari many chances. Kesari has been importing weapons which kill millions in the country and cause violence and terrorism. HE didnt kill Paro when he killed the rest of the barat. He jumped over a burning bike to go and grab Paro before she fell down fainting two days ago. See the guy for what he is...Rudra, the destroyer, but the destroyer of evil. He knows the difference. He does not care for appearances, but he is there to take on the burden of the world. Just like Lord Shiva!

Its a clash of ideologies, right?

What is home? What is community? For Paro, it is the solid home with her friend and her aunt, and then, perhaps, the little house with the man of her dreams. Varun, the man she wants is in tune with her ideology--he is her mirror, wanting a home, a future, children, a domestic life. Very specific, very much a HOME. And she has a community that ties her right down to its foundation--not just her aunt and Bindi, but even the Thakur family, the villagers who burnt her parent's bodies, who brought her up.

Even Thakur is an elder figure, the hand over her head, who is concerned for her safety, and (seemingly) protects her. And she is rooted to the tiny village where the bridal baraat for her wedding, (such a family thing) is, tellingly, the ENTIRE village.

Or is home your mother land? Bharat mata? I think that the fact that Rudra lives in a tent is very interesting, aside from being realistic. Its symbolic of how he is a wanderer, going from post to post, travelling as much as Laila, the nomadic tribal girl is a wanderer, with no roots to any community. His current love/lust interest is this Laila, a girl who tells him, straight out, that she does not want to domesticate him, and cannot even see herself in the role of the wife.

His only foundation is the army, his community is his army brothers, who he does not know at all, but for whom he seeks revenge. Even as a community, the army is not a permanent home--he goes from post to post, and he cannot get close to anyone even in his own group. His only elder, so to speak, is firstly a cruel cripple of a father, and now a stern superior commanding officer who, far from protecting him like the Thakur does Paro, instead sends him into danger as a matter of course. And his family does not exist.

I dont see how these two can make it...really, I dont!

All good points, but by destruction I mean, destruction of all that they believed in up until that point, a catharsis if you will, only then will they both find salvation in each other. The destructive power of Shiva needs the calming and nurturing force of Parvati to maintain the balance of the universe. Each equally potent and necessary.

Exactly what I meant as well. Shiva and Parvati are ardhanareshwar. They complement each other and make the universe whole. That is why they need to be opposites.
