Mayata Dutt admitted to hospital, has tumour in liver

Sanjay Dutt's wife Manyata, who has been diagnosed with a tumour in her liver, was admitted to the Golbal hospital in suburban Mumbai on Wednesday.

Dr Ajay Chaughule, a heart and cardio thoracic surgeon and heart and lung transplant surgeon at Global Hospital, has said that Manyata would need to undergo several tests to determine her condition, after which it will be decided if she has to undergo any surgery.

"We are doing complete investigation for everything for some problems she has.. There are lots of tests that she will have to undergo" Dr Chaughule said.

Sanjay Dutt, who is out on a 30 day parole from jail, was by her side.

Dutt married Manyata in 2008. The couple have two 3-year-old children, a boy name Shahraan and a girl named Iqra.

OH BOY I feel bad for kids...hope she gets better soon..it must be so hard for kids to understand what is going on? where does daddy goes and comes back for 30 days vac.. and now mommy in hospital...😭

I thought the same thing.. there were pics of her partying.. when he claimed to be on parole to take care of her.. I think this news is to cover up.. we are not going to get the test results... or get to see the "surgery report"

seriously looks like they have a curse in the family for the ladies(daughters-in-law) nargis,richa and now her.hope she gets better.

I know this sounds mean but honestly, I refuse to believe this story. Hopefully, I'll be proven wrong but until then, I am feeling disgusted that this guy is allowed to stay out of prison because his wife is not well. Do we really have any such provision in Indian constitution?. After all the drama and rona-dhona that he and his family did on TV, tried every tactic to cash-in on his Munnabhai image and the general emotional nature of Indian public, he still had to go to prison. Must have been disappointed. He must have gotten a royal treatment in the prison as well. But no, he wanted to be considered so much above general public that a new drama of unwell wife had to be started just so that he could live in the luxury of his home with his kids. hmmm .. never had any respect for this guy after his involvement in the bomb blasts and I guess no one expects much from Indian judicial system anyways. But now this has been taken to a completely different level of mockery of justice. Why don't other prisoners also get such advantages and be allowed to roam the streets and cause havoc? Why to even bother to put anyone behind prison even after they commit such heinous crimes? .. sick!
