Can I just say how much I love Rangrasiya for actually showing us the realistic characterization of Rudra.! So glad that they have now made it clear that this is who Rudra is!
Yes he is a 28 year old man who has needs! đ
Anyway, I'm glad they have brought in Laila!
These are the reasons why.
1) She is sensual, confident and yet Rudra doesn't care about her - From the dark and sensual tone of the scene with Rudra we got a clear representation into his thoughts. Some may say she was the 'perfect woman' Here was a seductress right in front of his eyes yet he made it clear that she doesn't mean a thing to him! Laila is vital for us let alone Rudra to see the difference between Laila and Paro.
2) Bold Laila/Innocent Paro - Laila came out with some very confident lines about sex and her physical attraction is very obvious. I love the way they contrasted that scene with Paro twirling around in her wedding lengha, innocent and pure. These contrast shows that Laila's physical attractivness has never held value for Rudra, yet the innocence and purity that Paro shows manages to make her much more beautiful and it is this innocence that will capture Rudra's heart.
3) Rudra is only content with her, physically. He is only interested in the physical aspect and nothing more. He has merely glanced as Paro and she will become the focus of his thoughts! He hasn't ever thought of Laila ever. Once the physical needs were met he told her to jog on and go!
Overall, Laila is a good character now as the bold scene has set up her character, managed to portray more of who Rudra is and his relationship with women and most importantly to see the differences in him when he falls in love with Paro!
