When I went in there I had to shoulder a far bigger responsibility than the other contestants. I couldn't talk about my family, or use their name to gain ratings. Never . I was on my own."

Between Gauhar, Ajaz and Tanisha, I would have preferred if Tanisha had won, not because of any great love for Tanisha but because Ajaz's tapori language and behavior was irritating and Gauhar seemed to be too conniving and fake.
Then she makes this statement "... when one comes from a family as celebrated as mine can't be expected to (be) cooped in a game show with ten other contestants.." Say whaaattt?
Should she have been given a separate game show where she was the only contestant? Seriously, does she have no sense of how she sounds making such ridiculous comments?
"Family as celebrated"? Kaun celebrate karta hai inko? Tanuja is a yesteryear actress, Kajol has more or less retired from cinema (gracefully). And not everyone thinks Ajay Devgun is all that (in my opinion he's a middling actor who has survived in a particular genre). And in the larger picture, it's not like they've done something great for humanity, they're wealthy movie stars that's about it.
The only possible explanation that I can think of is that sometimes people speak without thinking and by the time they realize what they've spoken, it's already been said so they keep talking and let it slide hoping no one has taken notice.
