Yay!!! According to a BCCI member, it might be possible that Dravid may remain as captain....I am not spreading rumours....I saw it in NDTV..I forgot that BCCI person's name....

I am soooooooooo happy!!! Its da time to celebrate!!!

It seems that the senior members of the Indian team wanted batting practice against Bangladesh and forced Dravid to chose batting......This is also one of NDTV's report.....I am not faking it guys!!😊

There is NO News.... It was Mr. Niranjan Shah who said it was his PERSONAL opinion that Dravid should continue as the captain. This happened some 2 days back. But with Sachin speaking up everything has changed, the team def has something to say. There still have a meeting to go on 6,7 of April and it looks like the team will have an opportunity to be heard aswell... If the team isnt happy with Dravid's captaincy it makes more sense to put the TEAM's requirements as the priority than anyone else!!!

So it is still very open. If NDTV sources are to be believed then Pawar is keen on meeting with Sourav Ganguly in a matter of 2 days.

i hope it is not true - he cannot lead the side, nor does he command respect from fellow players... they have been quoted saying that he has Never stood up for them or taken their issues with the coach or management... he is not a leader... if the bcci wants to genuinely improve our cricket, dravid must be sacked... but we keep giving importance to individuals than the team... they need a new captain...

Ok - so as u say others FORCED Dravid to bat - Now that in itself speaks loads of the Captaincy Abilities of Dravid if he CANNOT take his own decisions and gives in to pressures... A captain is incharge and the very idea of a captain is to make decisions at crucial times - else wat is the difference between a captain and a ordinary player... just seems a case of a Bad Workman Blaming His Tools...

Well said and i agree👏 What is the use of a leader if he cant stand up for the people he is supposed to lead? If only Dravid had stood by for his team, India WC dream would have been different. Here is Capt and Coach on one side and the Entire team on the other! And if the seniors players stand by the team, then they are charged of being a 'Mafia' against the 'oh so poor' 'oh so sad' Rahul Dravid. The captain and the coach should be according to the requirement of the team and not the team according to the whims and fancy of the captain and coach. I am so glad Sachin as a senior member of the team stood up for the team and spokeup for it & also took collective responsibility for the team's debacle... what exactly is Mr.Dravid(Whose responsibility it is to stand up for his players) doing? basking in the sun & sands of Kerala? He wants to maintain his 'Mr.Good Guy' and 'Politically correct' image... which isnt a mark of a leader.

I think Chappel and his supporters have forgotten that he has been appointed to fulfill the needs of the team and not team who should be fulfilling the requirements of coach.

India is now relieved of Greg Chappel... but the hurt that Dravid siding with Coach is going to run deep down in the team... retaining him as the captain will be no solution at all. The difference will be there. And i genuienly feel the ENTIRE team cant be wrong... There is surely a team out there and the decision should be made on the person who can lead it and the team accepts, acknowledges and respects that player as their leader. Rahul Dravid isnt a solution! In case he is re-appointed, the team may decide to bury the past and move on as professionals... but they are human aswell... will the hurt, insult & betrayal they faced be completelty wiped out from their hearts?
