Today's episode is a drag again due to impending shoot of new Asad. Nevertheless, I should agree that Zoya,Haider, Humaira and Razia are doing a good job in buying time for Asad scenes. Quereshi household scenes are improving and today it progressed in the right direction with Najma encountering Samaira and Farhan being able to empathize with Nikhat, both these developments are crucial to bring closure to Samaira track.
Now coming to the title part 'the selective memory loss', let me explain exactly what I mean by it, I was trying to rationalize CVs logic of the photoshop guy scene and the only way I could justify what they are showing is if the photoshop guy has selective memory loss.
Timeline of events with photoshop guy:
1. Photoshop guy didn't know who the person in photo that Zoya is searching for when Razia bribed him to mislead Zoya by telling her the man is dead.
2. Photoshop guy went to Asad's home to deliver framed photo and pass on the information to Zoya. However, he was unable to recollect the name and address of Zoya when Siddiqui asked for it, why can't photoshop guy check his old receipts to get Zoya name and address as it happened less that a year ago. ( Selective memory loss that he had a receipt).
3. Recently when he was framing more photos, he realized that old photo was of Siddiqui and he felt responsibility to tell him the truth. ( selective memory loss that he took bribe and mislead Zoya by informing Asad that Siddiqui is dead).
I hope CVs show next week that photoshop guy will come back with Zoya's name and Asad's address and let Siddiqui know that he was bribed by Razia to lie to Zoya about his death and now that he realized that it was Siddiqui, he want to rectify his mistake by telling the truth. This would be a great twist as Siddiqui will be torn between Razia and Zoya, he may take time to come to terms with reality but softens to Zoya and confuses hell out of Razia...lets wait and watch if CVs can fix their memory issues and justify the story telling.
