Someone please tell me why am I so worried?
Today's episode literally sent shivers down the spine. A lot of potent signals have been released, focusing towards greater confrontation, misunderstanding and heart-break, followed by impending doom and gloom.
To begin with, I will focus on the only positive aspect of the episode i.e. Jai telling Bani about the entire truth regarding Tarun and his illness. And Bani relating to Tarun's recent behaviour in tandem with Jai's explanation, and coming to the conclusion that 2+2= 4 acutally. Equally heart-warming was Jai's rendition that as long as he was around, TS would not be able to hurt Bani and that she only needed to be careful around him, before Skunky's violent streak came to the fore.
Equally praiseworthy was JW's open and full-frontal confrontation with Tarun, on two counts, where he forbade TS to meet Bani, under any pretenses whatsoever. He even dictated Bani to return to the house when he was threatening Tarun and like a good wife, she complied.
Now for the yucky parts.
Laxmi is understandably heart-broken and so is Karuna. And both of them are in lookout for the girl/ woman who has supposedly stolen TS away from Laxmi (anyway, when was he Laxmi's? that I never figured out, though I don't support him). This is too harsh given the fact that there is no written rule anywhere that the person we love should also love us back. If it happens, well and good and we have God's blessings. Otherwise, its no use lamenting. But I give the mother-daughter duo the benefit of doubt given the nature and timing of their hurt.
But I have a sinking feeling that these two will now probably go against Bani, at least initially the resentment will be there. This is a strict No-No cos Karuna's character had turned up to be a very good one in KS but we know that Maayi never keeps any of her characters completely good. So there goes another character down the drain.
However, I must applaud Karuna for using her grey cells and calling off the engagement based on the fact that she couldn't destroy her daughter's life.
Now for the Repto party. Queen Repto is sitting in the main hall as if nothing's happened and she is having the ball of her life. Enter JW and he is as mad as hell, and understandably so. Repto does wonders to our blood pressures, I wonder JW's BP is always on a high whenever he sees him. Predictably he tries to throw her out but Bani (I don't get her at all) stops him, saying that her sisters will always be there to protect Repto. A little later it is clear that she is play acting. A dumb-founded JW retires hurt.
Bani then goes to their room where JW questions her about her behaiour and he's mightily irritated. Bani tells him about Repto's condition and asks him what could she do? (I know throw her off a cliff – Rano are you listening? Bani duffer wont so you better do that 😡😉). JW clearly says that he understands but what she is asking is way too big for him to give. He impressed me by putting up that fight, and being so caring and understanding about it. He questions Bani staright whether they could trust Pia after everything she had done to them. Bani talks about the stupid kasams once again (Bani a message for you hun – forget those kasams and get along with your life) and says that she hasn't forgotten anything. After all, how could she – cos Pia was carrying JW's baby? Jai asks for Bani's forgiveness and says that it's always Bani who ends up suffering for everything that others do. He then notices that she doesn't have her MS and questions about it. To it, Bani replies that 'to Pia, I am still unmarried'.
And this very scene chilled me. What does it imply? That too keep up with Pia's partial amnesia, the circus that is being enacted will be toned up and now that Pia knows about JW being the Father of her child, will Bani make the sacrifice? Oh, how I hate everybody! 😡😡😡
Pia also mouthed a very important dialogue – Di, you have se how Mr. Walia treated me? He is never gonna acknowledge his child. What will I do now? 🤢
Anybody care to share their sentiments? I am feeling very worried now. 🤢
And yes, like so many others, I refrained from name calling, barring the standard ones. 😉😆
Kreatives, you all are doing a bad job. Especially the dialogue department needs to spruce up their act.
