Maan dialed Rahul's no..Rahul picked up..

Maan-Rahul tum kitni der me aa rahe ho office?

Rahul-Main kyun aaunga ..I don't have any work there ..IS something wrong there.?

Maan-No Actuaaly I was confused Geet was talking something about you aur mujhe laga tum aa rahe ho..Ok see you later Bye.and he cut the phone..

Now everything was clear for him..He knew why Geet was behaving in that manner..

He remembered every thing and connected to each other..Geet behaving weird yesterday..priya hiding the reason to put that dot of mehandi...Ram aand priya stopping Anie and Taiji from talking about Karwachauth , Geet leaving dinningtable quickly to avoid the family, his own talks with Anie and Anie avoiding to answer his questions about Geet's weird behavior..

In one way he was proud of his family which didn't want to hurt him and Geet ..And he remembered Arpita today...If Arpita and yash would be alive today this day would have been become the best day in their family nut this was the saddest day as they were not with them..He felt his eyes wet for a moment but he knew that right now it was not the time to remember those who were not alive but to take care of the person who was alive and alone today.He came to know about karwachauth just few minutes ago and he was feeling this much bad ,.then what about Geet?Geet knew it he didn't know since when , How she would be feeling to know about it..He wiped his eyes and went to FH..before entering it he met with pinky and Rohit..they were leaving for homes ..they were looking sad..Till now They had become good friends of Geet and knew about her past..

Maan-Rohit.pinky you are leaving for home?

Pinky-Yes sir ..Geet forced us to leave she wants to live alone for some time.

Man Hmm..ok jaao tum log

Rohit-Maan sir..please made her eat something she didn't have her lunch today..she gave it to the workers

Maan-Ok ..

Pinky and Rohit left and he went to the pantry prepared two cups of hot coffee and brought them to Fh

He entered the FH and found Geet sitting on chair with her head leaning on it's back. Chair's back was facing him..so her face wasn't visible to him

Maan-Geet..

Geet was sitting with her closed eyes and tears were flowing from her eyes..She was a human too how long could she hold herself alone. She opened her eyes hearing Maan's voice..She almost forgot about his presence in office..With a swift moment she wiped her tears ..Maan could see her doing all that but chose to ignore..Geet composed herself for few moments and turned her chair to face him..She looked at him for a moment and then averted her gaze

Geet-Aap gaye nahin abhi tak

Maan -No actually I thought to meet Rahul ..tab tak ye coffe pio..I think rahul ataa hi hoga

Geet-Hmm... and she took coffee from his hand and started to sip. She was in a thinking mode maan was watching her minutely..he could see that she was thinking about her next excuse.

Coffee was finished and Maan threw his next card-Rahul is very late..I think I should Call him.

Geet (instantly) -Nahin..wo aata hi hoga traffic me hoga..

Maan-Geet I think I should drop you at HM ..We should not trouble Rahul for this

Geet - No I will not go there..and she closed her mouth..

Maan-matlab?

Geet seeing no other option-A ..a..actually wo..

Maan-Geet kya baat hai..kuchh chhupa rahi ho?

Geet hung her face-Maan wo... Today is karwachauth..you know first after our marriage..and .and ..family is hiding it from us as yash and Arpita are not with us..kal dekha na aapne ki maa kaise chhupa rahi thi apni mehndi...and you know do din se mamma ne bhi baat nahin ki hai mujhse..HM bhi nahin ja sakti aaj to... same problem is with mamma too so I don't want to go in front of them today .issiliye I wanted to spend some time here alone and I was waiting for their fast to be over so that they all will not feel more hurt to see me.

Maan-kabhi apne bare me socha hai tumne geet ki iss tarah akele tum kaise apni takleef ko bear karogi..hamesha dusron ke bare me hi kyun sochti ho?

Geet-apne bare me ab kya sochna maan..ap sab hain na mere bare me sochne ke liye..I m not worried about myself..I want to pass some more hours only..Maa will sleep after breaking her fast as she would be tired after fast...so I will go late today.

Maan-Hmm ..now..Is our game of hide and seek over or something is still left there to tell?

Geetsmiled and said-No .nothing is left

Maan- to chalo..ab kuchh kha lete hain ..bahut bhookh lagi hai..

Geet-Didn't you have your lunch

Man-No I had but there is someone who didn't

Geet-kisne?

Maan- Geet ne...lunch kyun nahi kiya Geet?

Geet-bas aise hi ..mann nahin tha

Maan-Hmm now tell me what will you have..

Geet-Umm..Pizza

Maan-ok let me order it..

Geet-Maan can we walk and go there ..I m feeling very low..please I want to go out

Maan looked at her and nodded may be that was the best way to forget the pain

Moon was about to rise..

At HM..and KM

Priya and Sudha were ready to perform their rituals for the day .though this day means a lot in any woman who is married ..but these two ladies were feeling helpless in their heart..It was Geet for Priya and Ram who brought some changes in their life at this stage of age..She thought Ram to how to make his wife feel happy ..but they could not do anything for her..they accepted her as their daughter but they too had some limits..as God snatched her happiness.

Sudha mechanically performed all the rituals..Her eyes were full of tears and she was not able to watch the moon..she finidhed all the puja .Gautam was too very sad and understood his wife's turmoil. She was such a helpless mother..who was bound to do this fast when her daughter could not experience this even after marriage for once..girls see so much dreams of this day when they get married but god broke her sleep even before she could start to think about it

Gautam wiped her tears and she broke down in her husband's arms..Rahul was there too and could see his parents. He was too in tears..as Geet was still their life even after her marriage.

(Taiji as usual broke her fast by seeing her husband's photo so don't give her importance)

Maan and Geet were walking on the road...Geet was in some thinking mode..maan sensed it and asked her-Geet kya soch rahi ho?

Geet-Kuchh nahin..bas aise hi..

Maan-If you have something in your mind say it..

Geet -haan wo ek baat poochhni thi aap se..if you don't mind actually it's personal

Maan-personal?

Geet.-Hmm Maan aaj karwachauth hai aur abhi aapko pata chala iske bare me..Are you not missing Arpita today..I mean maine kabhi aapko uske bare me baat karte nahin suna..and I noticed that you haven't put her picture in you cabin..I want to say that I have seen my papa and your papa's tables in their offices ..they both have their wife's pictures there. I wanted to ask it from long but never got courage as it was very personal for you

Maan-Phir aaj kyun pooch rahi ho?

Geet-aaj ke din bhi aap ne uske baare me baat nahin ki, usko yaad nahin kiya to maine poochha

Maan knew that it would come one day.he took a deep breathe and said-Geet..it not like that I don't remember her ..She was a very nice girl. I respect her as a person .as a DIL and as a wife too..but this is true too that I don't miss her like you miss Yash..My relation with Arpita didn't reach that level where we could feel deeply for each other..

Geet-How it can be possible maan? She was not only your wife but a perfect wife. I always felt myself guilty for Yash whenever I watched her taking care of you because I could not do anything like that for yash..Mujhe to ye sab aata hi nahin tha tab..

Maan-Geet ..cooking food or keeping everything on place which is needed by husband..or packing his luggage when he is going out on the tours.are not enough for a husband to feel love for his wife.ye sab kaam to pahle bhi ho jaate the jab hamaari shadi nahin hui thi..these work don't make husband and wife feel love for each other...Geet husband and wife need time to spend with each other so that they can understand each other well .It takes time to develop any relation between two unknown persons. and in our case that was not possible because Arpita never had time to sit with me .she never talked to me she always seemed worry for the work of a DIL.. She was only scared for her image in the house..bas koi galati na ho jaaye koi ye na kahe ki kaisi bahu hai ..You know she was always scared as she watched you to be scolded by taiji for not doing any household work..she felt that it was very humiliating to listen such taunts. she thought that she did all her duties by taking care of my needs. I accepted her as she was but time didn't allow us to fall in love with each other as she left us

Geet was confused now and maan understood her confusion-Geet you were always with Yash when he was at home after marriage..may be you were busy in your studies but were in front of his eyes..so you both got time to understand each other.Above all you are very different from her you never cared about your image..You never hegitated to talk freely with Yash even when taiji was not happy with that..I so much wanted Arpita to behave little free with me..you can say I wanted her to be like you.I just wanted her to behave like you behaved with Yash. I really admired your and Yash'r bonding

Geet-But Maan she was pregnant. She was carrying your baby..Is it possible without any love between the couple?

Maan-This is a very special feature of arranged marriage geet where .two unknown persons starts their life with physical relations and other feelings enter later in their hearts. but they need time to reach that level. may be Arpita got such lessons from her elders to obey her husband in any conditions. She was always tired at the end of the day so slept very early ..She always slept with the worry to rise early so that she may not get any scolding from taiji..So we hardly spoke about ourselves in our bedroom.

Geet-And what about your baby?uski yaad nahi aati?

Maan-people say that a baby binds it's parents in a strong relation..but I m that unfortunate father who came to know about my baby when it left me ..jis bachchhe ke bare me pata hi nahin chala uske bare me kaisi feeling Geet..Kisi ke bare me feel karne ke liye uske hone ke ehsaas ko mahsoos karna zaroori hai..

Geet felt her eyes wet-Kaash us din wo accjdent kuchh ghante baad hua hota to aaj ye din dekhne ko nahin milta.

Maan-what do you mean Geet?

Geet-I mean what if I was with Yash that day at the place of arpita..kaash main chali jaati us din yash ke saath,,we too were going out that day after your return.

Maan-Ggeeett..just shut up..he felt little scared hearing Geet.

.Geet-I m sorry ..but it's true agar aaj Arpita hoti .to sab itne dukhi nahin hote na..agar Arpita hoti to aapka baby bhi bas aane wala hi hota ,aap log uske swagat karne ki preparations kar rahe hote aur sab se badi baat...maa papa ka ek beta to kam se kam apne pariwaar ke saath khush hota..phir un khushiyon me aap sab mujhe aur yash ko dheere dheere bhool jaate..Geet was again crying..It was night so no one around them could see them clearly.

Maan shivered hearing Geet.He wanted to hug her at that moment to shut her up but controlled himself .He did not like her talking like this and said-Geet just stop this all please...

.Geet wiped her eyes-I m sorry maan.

Shwe searched her bag to take the hanky but she remembered that it was left in FH..Maan took his hanky out of his pocket and gave it to her.She took I and wiped her eyes again.

Maan wanted to divert her mind now so he asked-geet did you know about the surprise that Yash wanted to give you that day?

Geet shook her head-No..I don't..He only said to me to get ready as were going some where..iske alawa mujhe kuchh bhi naain pata..

Maan was about to ask something else but they were at Pizza Hut so he stopped and both entered .

Maan asked Geet to order the pizza for both.Geet ordered a medium pizza and pasta as maan loved pastatoo much.

Both were having their pizza and pasta and Geet heard a voice which she felt was known
