Part-30

Maan asked Geet to order the pizza for both.Geet ordered a medium pizza and pasta as maan loved pastatoo much.

Both were having their pizza and pasta and Geet heard a voice which she felt was known

.They saw a couple fighting on the adjacent table

Man-Sorry darling..I tried but could not get that..I promise I will bring it for you..please ab maan jaao aur kuchh kha lo

Girl was sobbing-you know It's my first karwachauth and you did noy complete my wish.abhi ye haal hai to baad me kya karoge

Maan and Geet were looking at them with some confusion..and then Geet rememberd that it was the same couple through which she knew about KC in FH.

Geet's lips curved in to a smile .

Man-please jaan dekho mujhe bhi bahut bhookh lagi hai,.gussa chhod do.I promised you to bring that for you

Girl-You tell what will I show to my friends.They want to know what you have given to me on my first KC.

Man seeing up -God kya karoon main iska..

Maan and Geet looked at each other and Geet giggled to listen that man.May be he too had a fast for his wife and now is hungry and irritaed too at her for not having food.

Geet tried to interfere but maan stopped-Geet ..NO..

Geet-arrey Maan look at that man..it seems if he doesn't get food he will die..men are not used to keep fasts that too without having a drop of water.I think we should help them.

and he knew that she was not going to stay silent so he gave up.

Geet called them-Excuse me..do you both remember me?

Man looked at her and said-Oh yes ..it's you from whom we bought her dress

Geet-Yes you are right...may I help you ? and she signaled at the girl

Man-can you really help me.?

Geet and Maan set on their table.and Geet asked to girl -May I know your good names?

Girl was still sobbing-yes I m Riddhi and he is Rakesh

Geet- I m Geet and he is Maan..may I know why you are angry on him?

Riddhi-Geet aapko pata hai isne promise kiya tha mujhe ki wo mujhe aaj ek solitaire ring laakar dega ..but he forgot to bring..and I have already told my friends about that ring..ab main kya kahungi apne friends se ki ye bhool gaya?aj maine saare din kuchh khaya bhi nahin..iske liya fast rakha.

Rakesh wanted to hit his head on the wall for his wife's stupidity. he felt embarrassed in front of Maaneet.Maan and Geet smiled to know the reason of Riddhi's anger.

Rakesh-Yes I agree that I promised but I forgot ...when I went to buy jeweler said that stalk was sold to ab kahaan se laata.

Riddhi -to pahle dhyaan rakhna tha na

Geet-Riddhi..tell me for whom you kept the fast for that solitaire or for your husband?

Riddhi-Off course for Rakesh but you know mujhe kitni bhookh lagi thi lekin iski long life ke liye maine fast rakha aur ye itna bhi yaad nahin rakh paya.He does not love me like he loved me before marriage..You know I was so excited for that solitaire

Geet-But you know that yesterday he bought best dress for you even you didn't want to..Yesterday I saw his love for you. You know in my openion fast doesn't make husband's life longer..wife keeps a fast only to show her love for his husband .it only shows her concern that she only wants her husband to live long.

Tell me one thing If Rakesh had not promised you to bring the solitaire..would you had not keep the fast for him. And see he too kept fast for you.He knew that you were going to be hungry for whole day so he too kept the fast .isn't that enough for you? Solitaire to bahut mil jaayenge tumhen but you are very lucky to have him near you. Everyone is not that lucky in this world.

Maan could feel the pain behind her words.He could see some wetness in her eyes but he saw that she controlled it from flowing out of her eyes.

Geet continued- see he is hungry too but he is not losing his patience,he is still pleading you to have dinner..please see his love and have your food..Your friends are not more important than your husband.he is more important for you

Ridhdhi understood and she looked at Rakesh.He was looking sad. And Riddhi realized her mistake.she held her years and said sorry to rakesh..But for Rakesh it was enough that she understood her mistake.he too held her hands on her ears and removed them from there-No Riddhi..It's ok.I love you

Riddhi-I love you too Rakesh but I m sorry too. Mujhe nahin chaiye koi solitaire volitaire.aur ab mujhe bahut bhookh lagi hai plese jaldi se pizza mangaao na.

Rakesh kissed at her cheek and said-Sure jaan..and he looked at Geet-Thanks Geet..

Geet-you are welcome .. now enjoy your dinner..

Maan was looking at Geet with surprise..He was amazed to see her different colors..She was in pain since two days and now how easily she solved the fight of two unknown people.Taiji is right. She definitely knows some black magic

Maan patted at Rakesh's shoulder-Take care of both of you

Geet's phone rang. It was Ram.

Geet attented the call-yes papa..yes I m fine. Don't worry Maan is with me .Puja ho gayi?Ji hum aa rahe hain .Papa maa theek hai na?

Ram-Haan Geet two theek hai..bas dukhi thi.tum dono ke liye

Geet-Hmm I knew it that's why I didn't come in front of her today...We are coming

Ram -Give the phone to maan.

Geet -ji..and she handed the phone to Maan

Ram-Maan meeting theek se ho gayi?

Maan-ji papa

Ram-How is she?

Maan-Theek hai papa you don't worry..we are coming home.

Ram-Theek hai maine ghar par bol diya hai kit um dono office me hi ho

Maan-Ok papa..

Both walked back to office and got in to the car ..Maan drove back to home..they found everyone in their respective rooms

Both wished goodnight to each other and left for their rooms.

Maan in his bedroom

He was little scared for what he shared with Geet. Will Geet take it in a right way..what if she thinks that he did wrong with Arpita..will she understand him when she comes to know about his feelings for herself.will she connect these two things together..His feelings for Arpita and his feelings for herself?

But he said about everything true what he felt about Arpita ..he did not want to lie to Geet...

Arpita's pic was still in the room.. he looked at it and said -I m sorry Arpita ..I know you would be feeling hurt today but that was true and you know that..Never think that I hate you it's just ..I don't love you..I have a respect for you ,for your efforts to keep everyone happy but we both could not come that close in your that effort..I hope you understand..Please forgive me if you think that that I m cheating on you..but I want to tell you that I love Geet..I don't want to hurt you ..It's just my heart which is in not my control now.I know that she doesn't feel the same for me..She still loves yash..But I m ok with that she has every right to feel like this for her husband..I don't know what will happen with both of us..I don't know if we can have a future together or not I m leaving everything on time.

He sighed deep and tried to sleep

Geet in her bedroom

She was sitting on the bed..It was a long day for her..The day which started with an emotional feel ended on a good and light hearted moment.,her eyes fell on Yash..she took that frame in her hand and said-I tried to be strong Yash ..I tried my best..And all thanks to Maan who was with me..He really cares for me .our friendship is more strong then it was before..so you don't worry..about me ..I m fine..

she remembered all her day..

It started by seeing Suresh's wife ,then confrontation with Ram..and then Maan..as she remembered Maan..she recalled his words whatever he said about Arpita

Geet-Yash aapne suna na what Maan said about Arpita..Do you think if it is possible?You heard na what He said. Arpita was carrying his baby still he said that they were not in love then what about us? Yash aap pyar karte the na mujhse. Did you lover me or not? I know that I was not a good wife ..Didn't do anything for you that a wife should do for her husband..On the contrary I was a liability for you..to kya aap ko bhi laga kabhi ki hamaare beech jo tha wo pyar nahin tha ..aisa nahin hai na Yash.?.aap karte the na mujhse payar..

Geet was scared now? Aisa bhi hota hai kya? She was really confused now as she was comparing what what Maan said to her relations with Yash.Nothing was similar so she could not judge if Yash loved her or not...

But she knew that she was Yash's wife and and wives were made only for their husbands..Yash's family was everything for her..

She was in deep thought and later she slept

All were present for the breakfast except Taiji ..She had gone to temple..

Priya-Geet Maan You both came very late yesterday? Where were you both

Geet-Maa wo kya hai day before yesterday FH was full of customers so I didn't get the time to readjust it so yesterday I was busy in re setting it so got late..Maine papa ko bata diya tha ki main late ho jaaungi

Priya-Maan tum kahaan the

Maan looked at Ram and then Geet and said-Maa I was in meeting it got over in the evening and papa called me tpo be with Geet as she was going tio be late ..kal driver chhutti par tha .to main Geet ko saath lane ke liye ruk gaya.

Priya saw both were calm and she thought that last day went without much pain for them as they couldn't come to know about KC...

Ram-Priya agar inquiry ho gayi ho to Kuchh de do khaane ke liye..and he distracted all from that topic.he again asked-Taiji is not here where is she?

Priya-She has gone to temple..

Ram-OK

Taiji was complaining to God-Aap ko mujhe se koi dushmani hai kya

Wo Geet jo aapke mandir me aati bhi nahin hai usko aap koi problem nahin dete aur main jo roz roz yahaan aati hoon uski ek baat bhi nahin maante...aapko koi dushmani hai mujhse..

God was still smiling to hear her

Taiji heard some of her neighbour's voice she thought something and closed her eyes and started to talk to God in a loud voice-Mujhe pata hai ki Maan aur Geet ke saath bura hua..Kal Karwachauth ka din tha aur dono hi akele the..Kya karte bechaare ..ek dusre ka dard samajhte hain ..bahut achchhe dost hain par bhagwaanji aap hi bataaiye hum ghar wale jaante hain ki wo bahut achchhe dost hai par bahar walon ko kaun samjaayega ..unhen to yahi lagega na ki dono ke beech kuchh chal raha hai..koi raasta dikhaaiye bhagwaan..ghar ki izzat ab aapke haath me hai..jawaan bahu aur beta saath me ghoomenge to duniya to baaten banaayegi hi kisis ki zubaan to nahin pakad sakte na.. (I know that Maan and Geet faced a lot.. yesterday on karwachauth they were together..What they could do .They understand each other well.They are good friends..but we as a family can understand.. how will others take it.the reputation of family is in your hand now.young widow DIL and son of the family will roam like this then it will send a wrong message to the people.we can't stop someone from talking rubbish)

Those neighbours heard what taiji was talking One of them came near her-Taiji what you are saying.Geet was not at home yesterday?kal ka din bhi wo bahar thi?usko yaad nahin aayi kal apne pati ki? Ladkiyaan to ro ro ke bura hal lar leti hain apna aise me..

Taiji pretended as she was saying that unintentionally-Arrey nahin aisi koi baat nahin hai..Geet hamaare ghar me beti ki tarah rahti hai..Maan ko bhi lagta hai ki Bhai ki widhwa hai to help kar deta hai uski..aisi waisi koi baat nahin hai unke beech me.hum jaante haiin ki hamaare bachchhe kaise hain..mere mann me to bas ek darr hai I duniya kya sochegi issiliye bhagwaan ke aage apni baat rakh rahi thi..ab ek na ek din to Maan ki shadi ho hi jayegi .. kab tak akela rahega..tab tak hi wo Geet ka khayal rakh raha hai ..ek baar biwi aa gayi to thode hi Geet ke peechhe bhaagega ..Phir sab theek ho jaayega bas tab tak kuchh bura na ho(No nothing is like that.Geet is just like our daughter Maan thinks her as her widow SIL that's why he is helping her..We all know that there is nothing between them..I was only scared about our reputation. that's why I was sharing my pain with God.one day Maan will get married to some one..How long he will stay alone.Once his wife is here he will stop running behind Geet.Everything will be fine then )

Taiji went from there after hitting the target...Neighbours started to talk

One Neb-.what she was talking I m surprised that all this is happening in Km..

Second Ne.-ab dono hi akele hain ..ye to hona hi tha..Geet bhi to mayke nahin gayi Yash ke jaane ke baad.Jab aag aur ghee saath saath rahenge to agg ko to badhna hi hai.(Now both are alone.This was sure to be happened Geet too stayed here ,sshe did not go to her parent's house after the death of Yash..when fire and ghee are together then fire will increase only)

Third Ne.- Let's leave it here..It's not the metter of our home..Unka ghar hai wo jaane..Why we are getting restless..We haven't seen anything with our eyes ..I don't think we should overreact it this matter..

Other ladies -May be you are right..

But Taiji had put the doubt in the minds of the ladies..Every now and then They used to watch them going out together, laughing .together and talking freely..but anything was not out of the limit..Sometimes Ram was with them some times they were alone. No one saw any bad action between them so they did not get the point to talk to Priya or Raam on that matter..

Time was flowing in that way..On few occasions neighbours tried to talk about Man and Geet to Priya but priya did not give a ear and told them that they are like this since they got married to their respective partners and we respect their relation as both are doing their duties dedicatedly towards family..

Neighbours were shut by Priya with full respect..
