There are 'like' industries in places like Bangladesh where people are employed only to like and dislike people, events, articles, and so on. It has been proved over and over that individual stars cannot pull TRPs.The new colors female lead had a flop show that closed in 2 months. BB7 had very poor ratings despite... Its ratings never crossed Bv's at the latter's worst. And even though the latter had the 'world's worst lead couple' with their 'zero' chemistry.
If stars were so powerful they should be able to carry their trps with them wherever they go. Nope, it doesn't happen that way. Tv is not star- driven. Which is why they come, they dazzle and they disappear.
Who said Tv is star driven?Leave TV even films aren't star driven.Have ever heard of an SRK or Rajnikant film bombing?Happens right...? Nothing works in void. Neither great actors nor great stories. Either needs the support of the other.
As for BB7 it is a show which a limited section of the audience wishes to watch because of the nature of the content. Yes ofcrse the content matters, as I said nothing works in void. An exact or appropriate comparison can only be made only if the previous actress does a show of the same genre - fiction with family content than a show which draws only a small section of the audiences.If that makes much sense.
Stars dont carry trp with them but surely carry their talents with them.Thats why even when stars who seemed lacklusture at one point of time emerged as the biggest performers despite of beauty/bodily features ex Ram kapoor, sakshi tanwar,divyanka tripathi. With talent driven by the right content, trps come themselves.True stars never dis-apeear, they just go thru phases of eclipses. They return back and shine with equal brilliance.And I am really sure my favorite is one of the brightest among them đł
