Happy New Year Everyone!

May this year bring more Birpur ki Kacchi hava, Imli with Namak and Lipastik to you lives

My first post on this forum and brought here by one and only Sanaya.

Of course, first impressions are tough to break but I cannot help but fall in love with sanaya all over again. A bunch of us would agree after the Mother Ship docked, we were looking for another to tether and lets hope this one proves to be the one.

So on to first impressions...

Thakur sa runs his version of Bharat Matrimony company, with arms and ammunition as his payment. Women are selected from the current database by none other than the local expert, Nagdev. Once the woman is selected, she has about one week to get her affairs in order and be ready to be shipped across never to be seen or heard from. Thakur Sa has a fail safe, customer satisfaction record because no one ever comes back to Birpur to complain.

Our Paro is of course the beautiful, innocent village belle all ripe for the picking. She dreams of a soft spoken, loving, Amol Palekar husband. But she has a Dharmindar wala hatta katta Gabroo Jawan who is anything but soft spoken. Paro is a pretty kind and loving human with a sad history but she does not let it dampen her spirit especially when presented with Imli and Namak

Hero, kya hero hai. With a name like Rudra Pratap Ranawat, oozing all masculinity and rugged, outdoorsy, testosterone driven charm, I have only one question to ask - When will the consummation be? Please makers, make it fast, because I don't think I will be able to wait a year as I get high on that name every time - Rudra Pratap Ranawat...*shivers*

Ok jokes aside, I think Ashish makes a great couterfoil for Sanaya. The two look good together.

The story line promises "intense" love story, which means

1. Hate

2. Misunderstanding (MU)

3. Forced Marriage

4. Revelation

5. Consummation

6. Separation

7. Revenge

8. Find 100 reasons besides the main story to run the show for 5 years

Lets hope the makers realize that an intense love story has a short self life and after consummation, the sexual tension dissipates just as fast as the Fan Fiction writers.

IMFAO... That was a nice yet funny take. For short Rudra would be call RPR 😆

I get the other one but let's hope this show turns out to be something new and not like the one you described there. I really hope the CVS maintains the tracks well. And of course I don't want any intense off screen drama that comes from a 4lions show.

Of course Sanaya as always is great, she's doing a wonderful job as Paro.

My question already -- Consummation please!!

I am dreaming already!! Hope the PH wont rush in the process of Consummation and make it worth the wait. Aww...Gosh! He is hot and she is delicate. Cant wait!

This show has me hooked as it has 2 hotties. Tarun aka Takurji, who BTW looked mighty fine in his jodhpurs in spite of that garish purple jacket. And ofcourse Eye Sax wale Rudra Pratap Ranawat. Gosh, his intense eyes are very enigmatic. And his mustache is mightily fine.

In terms of intense love hate story some other things we should look forward to are as follows-
1. Consummashun attempt 1 in the haystack
2. Consummashun attempt 2 in the sand dunes
3. And final successful consummashun attempt in the surroundings of their bedroom which leaves us all guessing whether they did the deed or not.

Jokes apart, its such a pleasure to watch sanaya in a restrained role. She has been fabulous so far, so have the supporting cast.

Unless they screw this up big time, I'm in for the long-run.

Jokes apart, Sanaya and Ashish looks a good match. This is just going by the promo scenes, as they are yet to share the screen space.

Who knows, thakur sa might prove to be a good villain, as in 'a villain we love to hate"?

Agree, Sanaya is doing a mighty fine job as gaon ki chokri and Ashish is impressive so far. Saurabh, has said that he wants the show to have finite episodes with a proper end and they have a definite story in place, now if TRPs are decent and there is no off screen drama, hopefully the writers will be able to churn out a tight script * fingers crossed*

If this show takes off after jalebis, it will be imli with namak alag which will be much in demand 😉

Happy New Year! Great post SJ. It's good to see you on RR forum, I remember some of your witty and funny posts from the IPK forum. The story so far is intriguing and Ashish and Sanaya have got my complete attention. May this show be successful.

I'm the hocked to the show from the first episode itself. All I can say story is the real hero. Sanaya Irani of course is doing a fabulous Job as Paro I have fell in love with her all over again as well.

Good to see you here! I been missing all the fun posts, This brings back good old times.
