I don't even think Ranveer himself believes he has made it or whatever some fans are making it out to be. He certainly had a better year than Ranbir however he is not a star in the least and he knows it.
He knows every film of his is like a do or die situation and can be easily written off if he doesn't achieve atleast critical success.
But he is doing well for himself with the limited amount of roles he gets to choose with the films he wants to do. He knows he can't do a besharam kind of movie and get away at this early stage in career.
