Criticism on Katrina's acting skills ..Does it make sense anymore?

Katrina is no doubt the most popular , good looking and bankable star, Hardly one or two flops and series of hits in her 10 years career is commendable.Top spot belongs to her and looking at her consistent career no one can take it away from her.
She fits in every role perfectly which I think is a huge plus ( you can learn to act , but you cant learn to fit in a character ) ..with each and every movie she is just improving , loved her performances in New york , Rajniti , mere bro ki dulhan , Jab tak hai jaan, ajab prem ki ghazab kahani and Ek tha tiger). I started liking her after seeing Namastey London , she did impress me there ( that character was just made for her it seems).. Not to forget shes a great dancer..
Now coming to Dhoom 3 , although her role was short i found her impressive ...she got recognized and was given the credit for the success of the movie along with Amir by critics and fans alike.. got her share of popularity, promotion and has another hit movie ( Movie which broke all records). ..Im sure any other actress if offered would have taken up the role ..Haters should understand Katrina is the no 1 actress of this country, even the smallest of roles would reap good fortunes.😉 I wouldnt like to compare her with any actress until and unless they achieve even quarter of what she has achieved ..She's way ahead of others


Katrina has been applauded in the print and media through out, Movie goers and fans alike have liked her performances and movies.Critics have also approved of her as an actress.She got great reviews for the movies I mentioned above. Award shows too recognized her talent. ( She got nominated for Jab tak hai jaan, Mere bro ki dulhan and new york at film fare awards).She won people's choice, stardust award and big star entertainment awards though.
Directors , producers and all who kinda run bollywood have been offering her films after films, shes usually their first choice , if she rejects then other actresses join in. Experienced director like Yash Chopra selected her for such an important role in his last project ( jab Tak hai jaan) . 2014 too is packed with good roles .

In such scenario does it really matter what handful of haters have to say about Katrina? Surely doesn't make sense anymore yeah.

It never really mattered what haters said about Katrina or anyone in bollywood, everyone receives criticism and Katrina is no exception! But I am glad for her being her fan and all. She definitely one hard working actress.

When she got nominated jthj I rem major awards not recognizing her..anyways I guess it dnt matter!!

she was nominated for filmfare best actress category...She won best actress in a romantic role and jodi award with Shahrukh at Big star ( both for jab tak hai jaan ) .

You have to act first to be criticized for it

I like Katrina and yes she is one of the biggest and popular stars in the industry. Just hope she chooses roles which challenge her, like the one she did in new York and prove to everyone she can act, because she has the potential.

My post is based on facts of this industry I would say , Its not something I have made up so whats the point justifying something which is already so justified . Comment on haters was sarcastic one as I truly believe their comments don't matter in such scenario.

I don't enjoy her acting barring Race and Zindagi milegi. She gives a blank face and that bores me as a viewer. JTHJ is the perfect example for that

also did anyone really notice deepikas acting abilities until cocktail came around? Before cocktail deepika was not praised for her acting as much, cocktail was a challenging role and hence it made her work hard and bring out the actress from within her. then she kept choosing the right roles that challenged her and now she is respected for her acting.
