Its got to be REGULAS(plz see this)

ok guys why am i saying this???

well R.A.B. as we all guessed was regulus black but we were confused abt A then another theory said it can Alphrad (his uncle who gave some gold to serius remember??ok guys i was going thru meanings of various names in HPas our great rowling has derived them in a stunning way 😃

so this is what i got

Alphard - Perhaps derived from the dominant star in the constellation Alpha Hydra, the Water Serpent (a Slytherin reference?). Alphard can mean "the heart of the serpent" or in Arabic, "the solitary one." It lies to the southwest of the brighter star Regulus.

Guys its mentioned taht its situated near a brighter star REGULAS>>which is serius bro

It could be, but Jk Rowling likes to be unpredictable and when most people read R.A.B, they atomatically assumed it was regulas, but really good thinking though 👏 👏 👏

thats what i have been thinking she cant be so obvious but i mean alphard having direct connection with regulas was this on purpose to leave some clue by rowling or its just like that and alphard starting with A and thats what is missing in RAB so i doesn't it all fit ??? buut as u said rowling is unpredictable😆😉

good theory 😊 ....I'm not sure but I read in a site that JK has confirmed that R.A.B is Regulus Black..I'm not sure if it was true tho.....

I agree everything fits in together but then you never know with J.K Rowling doing it to just make you think Regulus. I so can not wait for the 7th book😍
