PS seems to beat his own trumpet a lot. All the articles that we have read from him has been as the big love interest in bani's life. He has been saying the same thing over and over again. From the destructives we have him as a pshyco who is obssesed with his best friends pregnant wife. NB had saaid that thier would be a growing friendship between BT but than Bani would find out that dubai was a ONS and not a EMA and go back to JW. I think they are going to explore the pshyco angle as has been shown on screen rather than the interviews that PS keeps on giving about being the blue-eyed boy of Ekta.

Pawan Shankar (Siddhanth) says he is the most popular star in television. And just how does he substantiate this claim? He says he's rejected whopping 25 serials and six films ever since he started playing the title role in the Star One weekly, Siddhanth.
"Yes, I have been offered 25 serials but I couldn't do them. I guess I'm the hottest star on TV today," says Pawan proudly.
So why did he reject these serials? "There were some serials I didn't like, while the rest I couldn't do because of lack of time. When I started doing Siddhanth, I had given 25 days of the month to it.
That didn't leave me with any dates to do another serial. But now I shoot only 16 days a month. This leave me enough time to shoot for a film, other episodes and play the lead in another TV serial," he says.
Everyone's dying to work with me
But that's not all. Shankar says he is contemplating four more projects with Star and Sony right now. "But I won't do character roles, only main leads. I'm open to a good offer — something that will take me beyond Siddhanth.
It's the only male-dominated serial today. Manish (Goswami, who directs Sarkar) keeps asking me 'Kab kaam karenge?' Jai Mehta of Sinndoor told me at a party that they really miss not having me as a part of their serial!"
Shankar also claims to have gotten calls from Raman Kumar, Ashok Pandit, Ashwini Choudhary and Anurag Basu, "who have said that they want to work with me. They all have appreciated my performance in Siddhanth."
Urmila ka jadoo
One offer he regrets rejecting was the Aahat 2 episode that featured Chetan Hansraj with Urmila Matondkar. "If they had told me that Urmila was doing the show, I would have done it," he admits ruefully. "I later called B P Singh and told him that he should have informed me."
Ramu ka bulawa
He has been offered films too. "I got a call from Ram Gopal Varma's office but I couldn't do the role as they wanted me to play a negative character.
They said that I looked too positive and that would take away sympathy from the hero.
There are also talks with three more filmmakers in the pipeline. They feel that I have great potential. I am obliged to Anuradha Prasad for having launched a newcomer like me in her serial," he says.
Love match
On the personal front he is living a very contented life with wife Yukti and seven month old son, Devas. "It's a love marriage," says Pawan.
"We were childhood sweethearts. I met her when she was eight and I was 10. She was playing a state table tennis match for Delhi, while I was playing for UP. Since then we have been together," he says.
