Tarun the Loverboy - Are we to Forget OCD

Just saw the article where KS was supposed to go back to a lovestory and Tarun was going to fall in love with the married pregnnat Bani. The way Pawan potrayed it was like a noble selfless thing and he seems like an actor who would have problems playing negative. So are we viewers going to be shown that all the OCD stuff was a blooper and Tarun is not obssesive and genuinly in love with Bani? Are we going to be shown that JW is wrong to be suspecting tarun and no one will believ him? Article says that tarun knows that Banni would never accept his proposal. Hello is'nt she married and pregnant. Why would she accept his proposal?

I thouhgt they were planning on showing Tarun as a pshycotic lover. Now according to PS the creatives want to develop a love story between B and T. What happens to JW is he married off to Pia? I was so looking forward to Tarun framing JW and him going to jail away from the madhousse.

For once I think the creatives are doing the right thing by not showing him as a freak and ridden with OCD. I think this will give the necessary competition to Jai and perhaps get his old character back unless they screw it up royally and make him the doubting thomas and being obnoxious to both B & T and driving Bani away.

Personally I like Tarun and he is easy on the eye, if people want to throw jhooteys at me, that's fine..I think JB lovestory needs some oomph these days, and Tarun is the right guy to put it back!!

The storyline changes so often that you can't make head or tail anyhow. I guess it will all depend on how strongly the audience reacts negatively to the B-T storyline. I guess if the audience is too negative they may again turn TS into a full-fledged psycho.

(I think JB lovestory needs some oomph these days, and Tarun is the right guy to put it back!!)

The love story does need oomph but what it needs more is communication, trust and faith not TS/Pia/Rosh/Pooch/Nattu/Sonali.

OCD doesnt make a person psychotic. Its a disease/physcological disorder when a person has to check things to make sure its in order. If he has OCD, he wont be obsessed about Bani. Ekta and her creatives should have researched a little bit more.

I can see what you mean. I would have agreed with you also but the creatives really butchered Tarun post the ONS reveal. If they had shown him as the guys who does not drop kick his best friend and shows no fairness than he does not deserve Bani. I think he could have been developed beautifully where he was mad at his friend for what he did, but he was also the one who saaw what JW went through in the divorce alimony thing. They could have shown him supportive of Bani but realizing that JW was imp for Bani's sanity. How can a best friend tell his freind that I will stop every step that your pregnnat wife takes towards you.

They really butchered his character and now the audience is not at all sympathetic towards him. If they had potrayed him more realistic that his friend had done a horrible thing but was human he would have been more acceptable. Like adi, who probably had a more stronger relationship with Bani but he did not butcher JW. Tarun just came across as selfish and looking out for himself and not Bani. Hell JW had given up his whole property to Bani why woudl he want to hurt her as Tarun was instigating everyone. I really don't lilr the character. Liked him during the divroce fiasco. That person I could have seen as the third.

You are right about the trust and faith in a marriage....
So they trust and faith in each other then what, KS ends abruptly - everything is dandy and every one is happy...

it's a soap, it needs to continue - so we need to have a story line, a plausible one that's entertaining...

With Pia they turned her into a rapist and are now slaughtering everyone to redeem her. With Tarun they made him so unsympathetic during the ONS reveal we already have a petition goint that we hate him. They have developed him very poorly and I FF when I see him in the same frame as Bani. Almost similar feelings as Pia.

I think theu should actually develop a Bani Pushkar angle. Pushkar has selflessly deveoted himself to Bani. Him finding out she loved him once and than him loving her silently would be much more poignent that the skunk.

When i read the article this afternoon...I was a little 😕
I thought that maybe PS is not told that his chracter has OCD...only RK knows...but that would be silly right...

On a serious note...Tarun's third wheel could have been made a very interesting one, but for some reason the Kreatives not being very creative and resourceful, went down the wrong path...
I hope they have a clue of where they are headed...coz from where I stand things dont look very good..

I totally agree with you. With OCD a person has t wash their hands a 100 times and stuff. But the definition of OCD that KS gave was the person becomes obssesive about another person and can become violent if they don't get the companionship of that person.
