Naina is very arrogant and selfish and intolerant. She is riding the horse of greed for money. She does hate and insult people who are below her standard in terms of money. She has got all the money due to the foundation put by Kripa's father and she is trying to deny that truth, by insulting them. She within herself, can not deny this fact. She does not want the shadow of her past to even come near her and her beloved son Angad. She does love Angad, but due to her love for money, and arrogance she has done all the bad deeds so far. She is dangerous.
Kartik is doing all the bad deed, bcos he is psychologically deprived of love and attention from his parents due to the eclipse that is created as a result of Angad's success and Naina's greed and his father's cowardness or rather his blind belief in Naina. He needs psychological treatment and support. You can safely call him a "PSYCHO".
Damini is most dangerous of all. People who are silent and do not express what they have in mind directly are more dangerous. She loves her children a lot. They are her world. She has cared and loved them and lived for them as a single parent. She can not see her children hurt. More than Mishty and Prithvi, I bet, she is the one who is hurt more. She dreads one more blow that will be devastating. She feels, both her children will be severly wounded and can not compromise with the situation. She is trying to fight the fate by harming Kripa, so that she can keep Prithvi away from Kripa. A mother do not let her child any where near the fire. She is definitely not intending to kill Kripa, but she is trying to harm her relationship with Prithvi. As a woman, she knows, Kripa can not give her full love to Prithvi, which will hurt Prithvi a lot for the entire life. Even now, she may not be giving poison to Kripa, but may be make her do something not correct for a girl who is getting married or to make her sick, so that marriage is put off, so that there is time for Prithvi and Kripa to think over their life properly or create misunderstandings between them so that they do not marry at all.
Mishty is an emotional fool. She knew, she does not love Angad. But still she approached him with the intention to marry him and separate him from Kripa. Her intense love for her brother, who was rejected by Kripa made her do all this. In her sub-consciousness, she is hurt when Kripa rejected her brother's love and wants to inflict the same wound to Kripa. So, she is like a fire fly. She tried to destroy herself even though she knew, she does not love Angad (remember her thoughts, while she was walking near the beach).
So everything that is happening is clearly due to psychological trauma these people are going through and are reacting within their own mental frame.
