On the other hand Khushi is running and huffing, getting breathless. She reached RM and the door is already open. She gets inside the house in the crux of the moment, when Arnav is just about to take Payal's signature in a paper. Payal asks him what is it. But Arnav can't reply her, as khushi answers for him
"Nothing, it's just official paper. Hai na Arnavji?" ..she is still panting.
Arnav agrees her. But payal is incredulous, why she needs to sign official papers. Khushi averts her, she needs to make badam ki halwa for Akash.

she is aghast, so she wants Arnav's affirmation that no divorce paper has not been signed.

Mami is giving Payal the task of cutting 20 onions in 5 minutes. She sets the sand clock for her. She slams a stem of greens like a leash.

She is smiling devilishly. She puts the goggles on, so that the pungent onions will not bring tears to her eyes. She supervises Payal like a tyrant and doesn't forget to slam the leash every now and then. Payal tries her best to complete the task. But unfortunately she can't complete it in due time. Two onions still left. Mami is inexorable; she declares that Payal couldn't prove herself a good DIL. Payal apologizes to her. She lets her go this time, but she is very disappointment (disappointed) to see her failure. She wants to give her another chance, so that she can prove herself again.
In arnav and Khushi's room the Tom and Jerry chasing game is still on. Khushi this time escapes to the poolside. Arnav again tells her to give him back the papers.

For a moment time ceased to exist as they just stood there, they get lost to each other's eyes as if there is no inhibition between them, as if they became oblivious of their animosity. Rabba vey makes the moment more romantic. He gazes down at her with his eyes alit with a soft glow, before sobering up in an attempt to dispel the uncomfortable, unnerving awkwardness between them. Her hair is flying with a gentle breeze. Khushi is gasping inaudibly at his close proximity. They reminisce their sweet old days, when he first kissed on her cheek, when he walked with her hand in hand on the diwali night, when he extricated her from entangled fairy lights, when he untied her hair, after dancing with her sensuously. They gaze at each other with their eyes speaking of undeclared, sweet significant moments, their unexpressed emotions, their untold feelings. The moment has felt close, a vibrate of unfelt anticipation, a spark of impulse quavered as their breath coalesced and Khushi first breaks the trance, steps back to put distance between them. She lowers down her gaze. But Arnav stays still for a moment. Just a fadak padta hai moment for him. For a moment it seemed he can't bridle his passion for this girl any more, who is his first love. He tries to steal his glance. was he scared to get caught by her, that how much fadak she causes to him!
Saas-bahu drama scene-3
Mami gives Payal to clean stones from a plate full of rice. (I never knew that there are stones in rice! ) Payal has still tears in her eyes because of those onions. She actually can't keep her eyes open because of the tears. But she is persistently doing the frivolous task, what her obnoxious MIL is giving her. Mami carefully puts back the stones in the rice. She starts to chide Payal, that she intentionally is not cleaning properly, so that the stone will come between her teeth while eating. And her motijaise (pearl like) teeth will break. Payal cowers, she will clean it right now. mami mixes the rice again and shows her that her time is over. So like phatti saree she also couldn't prove herself an achhi bahu. She tells her that she must not feel herself a heroine as Akash supported her. There is only one lion in the jungle and in this house she is the only boss. She tells her to clean up the kitchen fast. She should learn from her what a good DIL is! Payal is standing there in rendition.
I really couldn't get this exaggerated saas-bahu drama. Did they try to mock the typical hindi soap's saas-bahu rona-dhona or did they really wanted to show this inconsequential drama to grab TRP!

Khushi is exulting her victory that she could destroy the divorce papers. She is grimacing at him and beckons him in a teasing tone. But there is not a single person born in this world who can fight back with ASR. So he gives her a quick repartee,
I can make the paper again and can take Akash's sign as well. Everything is under my control and will remain so khushi. So till six months do silently whatever I'm saying. Next time don't try to do such stunt. Got it.
His voice is husky, menacing. And he strides across the place in pure ASR's style.
