Why gouhar ?

I don't understand till now that why gouhar celebrated Christmas? But she dint participate in Durga puja n Diwali puja.i know she is a Muslim but when salman came in bb house he did aarti with elli..so why she dint..?? After all her boyfriend is Hindu so why she dint at least respect of that relationship ?? What a double standard!!!

Christianity is a religion accepted in Islam... Whereas Hinduism is not an acceptable religion for muslims... Becoz People who are Christian are people of the book... so In their religion, muslims can participate in the celebration of a christian festival... and It was not like they were worshipping on Christmas... They were celebrating a happiness...
Whereas Pooja is worshipping a God... and muslims dont so that...
Secondly, I dont feel any disrespect for my religion, if a person doesnt do Aarti with me... I might not want to pray with them either...
No matter what amount of hatred you have for Gauhar, we should not involve religion in it... Religion is personal

In Islam, idol worship is shirk, the association of any other Gods with the Almighty is the biggest sin in Islam. So it makes sense why she remained at a distance as she is practicing to an extent.

If you're wondering why Salman did arti is because he's half-Muslim and half-Hindu, him and his family do pooja's whereas Gauhar is a full Muslim... And above comments explain well why Gauhar didn't participate in the arti
