Today I was seeing the show more as Anand the main protagonist ,whose journey is defined,whose development of character is well scripted with direction. The main characters can be others ,all of them will go through development but they may play the part in anand's journey than the other way round.
The journey's way is - from anand getting married not out of his excitement or wish but you can say as if its a rule . I mean In age of 3/5 you have to go to school , After 12 graduation then job and then marriage like that. From there ,journey continues to see your wife as your ardhangini(a part of you ) and then accepting her as jiwansathi(life partner).
If we have to define this mess,the issues between anand and kittu ,then we can say that kittu wants to be life partner while anand wants ardhangini. With which expectations ,with which roles,with which eyes he sees kittu ,may be like:
1) a part of him(in bad sense): He thinks of her as a part of him. When sthing bad happens ,when there Are issues in family and kittu does have a link,he feels fingers are being pointed at him.
Now kittu expects him to not snatch the rights of being a part of his family in return.
2)a part of him(in good sense): she has become just not a part but an important part of him. When they were showing the flashbacks,note the order of people. It was not her mother,her sister or jess but kittu,her hurt face,her words that made him accept the mistake.
Since last two days if kittu is sad then so do he . It did take time to come out of his ego but he chose kittu over ego.
3) Target of his anger: this is interesting. He wants her to be his punching bag. Kittu was becoming until now but now she wants to be his punching back instead of bag. Beware shraddha, you can be his punching bag no. 2.
I mean last time when kittu gave back(when he left her in her home) ,he came back and lashed at shraddha. Shraddha was and is available before kittu but kittu is bag no 1 so how could he snatch the right of no 1 From kittu ,right anand?
Misti sorry for using your word but listening to his dialogue 'tum ab bhi bahas kar rahi ho' ,i couldn't think of a better word than 'punching bag'. I mean bag is supposed to listen whatever he says not say back. His words of 'i was thinking to bring you back,i thought i did wrong to you' are supposed to take as a great gesture of him. Mr Anand, if you have realized then aren't you doing the same mistake again?
From story point of view,am happy that they showed him accepting his mistake owise it may come out as bad on his character. And its good that it didn't get used in bringing kittu back bcoz if she had then a situation come and he would have ended up using her as target of anger again. So this track would have gone in vain in developing the character.
Kittu:
I don't know if its first time she is taking the words from face value or she has habit.but if its first time:
The scene of kittu reminded me of words written for girl. When a girl(basically a dreamy girl instead of practical) gets hurt by a person's words to whom those dreams were linked, then she starts scratching on those words to get maximum hurt,to make her wounds more fresh . The way she was repeating his dialogues suggested me this. That person may say 'leave me alone' but the words are for that moment but for girl,she feels unwanted in his life. At that time she forgets to see the nice moments she shared with him.
The solution is time and peacefull environment which she is not getting here due to presence of her mom.
I hope this track brings the development in her character also where we should not take words as just from face value . Stimes they are linked to moments instead of the feelings of the person.
