nabiii I found Jalal's reaction very cool...At least he didn't look jealous to me at all...I dont think Jalal is in love...How can he fall in love so suddenly? Just few days back he was getting tel maalish from Jodha without being least bit conscious of her touch...and 1 letter from Jodha changed him so drastically...I think he desires Jodha and nothing more and equating his desire with love...

I think Jalal fell for Jodha at first glimpse. It is just he is too pig headed to admit that even to himself. So first revenge against her (I mean what did he expect enemy Rajkumari to sing praises of him for waging war against her Amer!) the reason to marry her. He has eyes only for her but is too proud to ever tell her. So he is also happily going along with Jodha friendship track.

MahamA puts it into his head via letter track that Jodha now started to love him. So Jalal feels now he should no longer hold back so all the outpouring of his feelings. The sentence he says to Jodha - Only time my hands were shaking ---- when her hand was given to him in marriage etc.
He is crushed when she rejects him. He is not jealous he is hoping he can make her jealous
