Swayam: Where does he stand in Dil, Dosti and Dance

In the past month Swayam's character has taken some drastic U-turns. Such drastic changes that its really difficult to connect with Swayam's character anymore. Swayam Shekhawat. A character which has been the most unconventional in this TV. Where he is lost from the past month CVs? Does Swayam have anything in his life anymore?

Dosti- He has been lying to his friends about keeping in contact with Kria. This plainly goes against his character if not justified properly. There have no proper justification now. And in the past month in all the scenes it still isn't clear if he knows why Kria left St. Louis. He told Rey that he didn't want to stop him from moving on. But CVs that seriously isn't good enough. If Kria hasn't told Swayam about the truth behind her leave what Swayam did was completely wrong. Swayam's character will be filled with a big loophole if this isn't justified properly. And also about the matter of him telling Kria about Taani. Its also not clear whether Swayam has told Kria about Taani or not. If he hasn't that would be like keeping your friend in the dark just for the sake of keeping your sisters happiness intact. Honesty is a question here. And Swayam has been symbolic for his honesty. In the Kria's re-entry track Swayam has been intermixed which brings in some big loopholes in his character going against his own characteristics traits. CVs please justify these aspects.

Dance - Does Swayam has any career to think about? Where is his passion about Dance? Or does he have any passion at all about Dance? He is just moving around here and there like a robot with no thought process at all. Speaking of the Dance Academy Track. Well CVs it has been always said that its a D3 team's story and all. But does the dialogues portray so. Rey's Dance Academy, Rey ka dream, Rey ka passion, Main apni Dance Academy khol dunga, Rey is this Rey is that. Will this ever end? Why does Swayam have no passion related to the Dance Academy, no eagerness, no effort. Or he is just there to stand and listen what everybody says. Giving a mini flashback. After SwaRon breakup in the monologue of Swayam in the attic he said now he will concentrate only about Dance in his life. What about that? Isn't that monologue supposed to be justified? Ya phir raat gayi baat gayi? And will we ever a Swayam solo in this lifetime? Show's USP is dance where dance factor majorly revolves around the four leads lives. Where in this case Dance has evaporated from one the leads life completely.

Dil - Swayam has been loved most by people because of his way of loving Sharon. With utmost conviction and dedication. And by him loving Sharon I don't mean him pouring just those lovey dovey lines at her. Things have went bad between SwaRon a lot of times and post that most of the times he goes at his indifferent phase. Which is connectable. The angst and him hurting Sharon by taunting her shows his hurtself. Things went real bad between them post the speaker room scene. He then went again to his indifferent and hurting Sharon phase. But why suddenly everything with respect so Sharon is so emotionless from Swayam. Again giving a mini flashback. Swayam said he and Sharon can never be friends. Then where does his such bizarre casual approach towards Sharon come from. He talks with Sharon normally like any other person, not with a person whom you are in love with and with whom you had a beautiful past along with some really agonish memories which can't make things such casual. There has to be a bit uneasyness between them. Swayam giving a cold shoulder and hurting Sharon shows some of his emotions. His this sudden casual approach with Sharon doesn't give explanation to anything.

And now coming to "Change" that Swayam has been going on about since days. What change exactly does he wants? Swayam asking about Sharon's change also goes against his characterisation if not justified and till now it hasn't been justified properly at all. Change means a lot of things. Why his monologues never say what change he exactly is seeing and change he exactly wants? (His monologues never extend beyond the word "Change") Plus Swayam has been only seeing the change in Sharon wrt her behaviour with Kria. Why Sharon's changed behaviour for Swayam is just restricted to Kria? For eg. In the last rehearsal hall scene Swayam noticed two things Sharon standing up for Kria and she agreeing to dance with him infront of everybody for the first time. But in his monologue that night what he just thought Sharon stood up for Kria. The 2nd part just evaporated from his head? Why he is not at all exclusively about Sharon and him? Sharon's efforts for getting him back is a lot more than what is shown that he is understanding. Sharon has changed. But why he is just only seeing one aspect to that ie Kria's aspect. And how does Sharon's changed behaviour for Kria is remotely related to SwaRon. If Swayam would have thought that Sharon is changing and is being friends with Kria for him, then it goes a bit towards SwaRon (With also chances of a MU). But thats not the case here.
In all the cases Swayam's PoV in the whole story is being handled raggedly which is thus leading to his character's assasination. In all the 3 D's of his life not even one is on track. CVs his character is being filled with loopholes day by day. Swayam Shekhawat is a character special to many people. A character with whom we connect and admire. Don't ruin such a beautiful creation like him CVs. SwaRon are also lost. Atleast keep these wonderful characters intact. If not development in his character atleast donot degrade him. Please do the needful and justify. Don't kill Swayam Shekhawat

Much needed post Swathi and Uzma...

Swayam is the most beautifully designed character on Indian Television...the USP of this character is he is one of a kind,he is extra-ordinary,he is unpredictable ,honest,he loves Sharon unconditionally(even after getting hurt) and there are countless aspects to this beautiful character which can be only felt,its impossible to describe SWAYAM in words.Coming to Swayam, i saw Swayam last time after Pehla Nasha dance when in his monologue he accepted that Sharon made him feel special.After that I saw a Swayam who is not Swayam like at all,he is a completely new person.I dont know who is responsible for this,as this change occurred after new CVs entry,as a viewer i think they are responsible for this new and not-welcomes Swayam.

You discussed almost all points ,still i will put things as per my POV.

After 25th Nov , the new Swayam took birth - who is only a friend and sad thing is the friendship is one-sided and meant for only person.Swayam hiding things from gang and Rey was still ok with me as Gang hardly cared about Kriya and Rey was moving on.But hiding things from Sharon was baseless ,mainly when they were in relationship .His "honesty " was butchered with this carelessness of handling scenes.CVs got so busy in writing come back track that they used Swayam ONLY as a prop to get back Kriya and not as a lead of D3.

Another major aspect of friendship is missing in Swayam-Kriya's friendship .Swayam was shown always caring and concerned about Kriya.They always spoke about Kriya.Her pain,her equation with Rey,with gang.NEVER EVER they showed Kriya asking Swayam about his life,his equation with Sharon.Friendship is not only about one person,its about two people.

Rey got to know about Swayam hiding truth regarding Kriya and became cold towards him.After that we didnt get any scene where Rey accepted or spoke to Swayam about this.Frankly saying in regards to ReYam history,Swayam was the one who got slapped ,still he forgave Rey.Again CVs left this thing loose ended.

Swayam is more of a prop than a friend in D3(in last one month) .

Dance -
Swayam is the winner of National championship in Freestyle dance.He is the Captain of NDC winning team.So he is a very accomplished and successful dancer.

After new CVs entry ,when they started the dance academy track, it started with a discussion of the entire TEAM's future.They gave many suggestions and finally dance academy was decided .Swayam and Rey worked TOGETHER on the business proposal.When it became REY'S DREAM ,Rey''s academy .Rey's future from Gang's aspiration , i dont have any idea as a viewer.This showed us a Swayam, who dont have any dreams,any aspiration.Who dont think about his future ,his career.He is only concerned about one of his friend's acceptance to their group and another's friend's so called dream.He is happy being a Personal Assistant to Kriya and Rey despite of the fact that he is EQUALLY talented as them as a dancer.He has proved it in past.

Again ,Swayam's individuality as a dancer has been mocked and butchered to glorify and fit others in the scene.Swayam who was the choreographer and captain of National Dance Championship winning team ,cant decide a routine for him and Sharon.He needs Kriya's help for that.This was a lame way of forcing Kriya in SwaRon story and scenes.

Dil :

The Dil /heart part of Swayam as a character is DEAD .He dont feel anything when he sees Sharon trying to get him back.He dont feel any emotions when they dance together.His heart has stopped working i guess.As a viewer who has followed Swayam's character and Swayam-Sharon love story religiously ,who understand Swayam's character through countless scenes and moves of this character ,I AM NOT ABLE TO RELATE TO THIS CHARACTER.He is hurt as Sharon insulted his love by rejecting in front of whole gang.As a result he is heart broken and he lost TRUST on Sharon's love for him.He was indifferent in the whole phase when Sharon was trying to apologize and get him back in her life.Suddenly he started noticing Sharon's CHANGE after her freindly behavior with Kriya.How his LOVE and TRUST in the relationship with Sharon is related to a third person is out of my understanding.The sudden rudeness and next day casual approach towards Sharon is not having any base.There was no scene which justifies his sudden friendliness and casualness with Sharon.Swayam the most emotionally mature character has become emotionless.he dont feel anything.He has become heartless,to be frank.

PS- I wont say anything about the CHANGE jaap.I am officially allergic to the word CHANGE.One single word is successfully working as a slow poison for this character.

Swayam's character is not filled with loopholes ,his character is made of loopholes after 25th Nov.

Enough said.Don't kill Swayam Shekhawat.You have ruined him ENOUGH.Please spare him and US .

A much needed post :DDil - Swayam is not at all present in the Dil part now. He is not that Swayam we fall for. I said that I was not able to relate to today's swaron scene because swayam's charm was missing. Frankly speaking, I fall in love with SwaRon coz of Swayam and i really can't adore ss scenes without him. In today's scene i felt like he is physically there but not mentally!!! I want that Swayam back whose antics used to make me blush. Want him back.Dosti - He always was a very good friend whom a person can trust but now he is not the same. He lied to Rey or hide the truth from him watever!!! is not at all appreciative. He always helped their friends but now how can a person took help from him??? Dosti part has also been destructed!!!Dance - Arghhh -_- kitna bhi kehlo cv's will not listen to us -_- Do he have a passion in dance??? He became a dancer with his dad's against-ness and now what are we seeing??? Why the hell he is so worried abt Rey's dance academy?? I really want to see Swayam as a Passionate Dancer!!! He should be focussed on this part and cv's should not forget that Its a dance show and he is a male lead for god's sake!!!!
Swayam has been brutually murdered. Want him back!!!

Amazing post . To put it bluntly , I'll say Swayam stands nowhere currently . His character has been altered so much to fit the current storyline ,which revolves only one person , that he is unrecognisable now . The Swayam , unique and who represented all the aspects of the show perfectly is lost . You put all the points well across . They butchered one of the most perfect character on indian tv ever. About the change thing , it makes wanna punch someone everytime he mutters it .😡

Sqayam was the only character one could ALWAYS love and relate to..plz cvs dont kill him..plz give us back the swayam shekhawat along with all the 3 D's.

Coming to your post, it's very well penned down. No character like Swayam has been ever created, will be never created.

Dosti : It goes over the top. I find his bond with Rey fine sort of but with Kria? Okay KriYam is fine and all but it's still not clear WHY Swayam was in touch with Kria? Does he know why Kria left ? Does he know about her mom's promise? Does he know that Kria dumped Rey for what reason?? If he doesn't, then why did he blindly follow Kria? Why did he stay in touch with her? Why are Swayam's thoughts ALWAYS related to Kria?? WHY WHY WHY??

Dance: I think Shantanu is an exceptionally brilliant dancer. It's a shame that not even one solo of Tannu has been shown. It's more than a year now. High time they show a solo, and even more than that I don't get it WHY Swayam's dance career plans revolve around Rey? Rey's dance academy, rey's passion, rey's this, reys' that! Rey rey rey rey rey! Doesn't he have his own career to think of ? Doesn't he have any ambition or goal in life? Doesn't he feel like doing something, creating his own individuality?

Dil Pleaseee I'll prefer to write minimal in this aspect because I'm really frustrated with him. The way the so called creatives are butchering his character is HIGHLY nonsensical, and not justified at all. Swayam's dil phase is also revolving around Kria. Sharon is supporting Kria, sharon is mingling with Kria, Sharon- Kria Sharon-Kria. Why not only Sharon? This change word has been irking me ever since he mentioned about changing Sharon. Swayam's love was NEVER about changing Sharon. He accepted her the way he was, and it's frustrating how he can never keep Kria out of his and Sharon's convos ! Fine you are her friend , agree but what is the need to DRAG KRIA into every possible SwaRon convo? Don't they have anything else to talk about? Waha Kria and Rey are so nonchalant about the rest of the world and yaha SwaRon apne aap ke baare mein chodke baaki sab ke baare min grandparents ki tarah baat kar rahe hai! It's so irking.

Swayam once upon a time stood at the first place in terms of Dil, Dosti, and Dance but now it feels like his character has undergone so many changes that it's difficult to revive the basic essence of the mere character.
