The pungent marketing strategy has made sure that the news about the show is spread faster than a smell... we knew all about the elaborate sets, intricate costumes and awesome animation.
But all Mytho series are not the same.. Devon Ke Dev. Mahadev, keeps a low profile in jazzy things but still maintains one of the highest Trp's. In fact due the popularity of Ganesha's character in the show, Katha Mahadev Putra Baal Ganesh Ki was Specially launched while the festival Ganesh Chaturthi. One of the most important aspects of these shows is the characterization, specially the central character. The moment such show starts the central character grabs the attention and takes the show ahead on his/her shoulder.
It has still not changed the Maharana Pratap of Maharana Pratap is especially appreciated for his acting at that age, in fact there are historic facts in our television industry that if the show is working well they delay the growing up of the central character as much as they can. Looks like we still follow history in our historical shows
While the actors of Jodha Akbar, were not that lucky... they were accepted by the audiences in their particular roles with quite difficulty. But now that they have braced themselves with the love of the audiences, the show is getting its fair share of attention.
The makers of Devon Ke Dev. Mahadev are now venturing into this genre as well by introducing The Adventures of Hatim, the show is set to be premiered on 28th December... thus we know one thing for sure, that this telly trend is leaping into new year... well how does it shaped up over the year is question of waiting and watching.
