the line crackled with a highly disturbing buzz on the other end.

shaina: hello....hello????

she was a little annoyed....."hello??" she repeated for the last time before hanging up.

deepika: who was it?

shaina: i dont know....line par bahut disturbance tha...lekin it jus-

the phone rang again. shaina answered it...

shaina: hel-

a crackled voice buzzed from the other end, and spoke to her, it left shaina dumbfounded. she there was no duplicating his voice. she would recognise it anywhere....

"shaina...its me....."
shaina: aryan!

even though she said it in a whisper, neha and deepika looked up, shocked...

she heard him....he seemed to be speaking with great difficulty, as if he was struggling to breathe....

aryan: shaina main yahan...

shaina: haan kahan aryan? kahan ho tum?

aryan: shai...ek godown.....mahim mein.....main....woh.....ughh....shai....

the line went dead........!!!

Baap re kitna wait karvaya tumne Resh. But I know you are busy and lazy(as you said. No offence, just joking 😉 😆 ). That was great. Aage, aage dekhna hai hota hai kya. But continue soon, atleast a little daily.PLease.

neha: what? oh my god! what did he say??

shaina: i dont know....bahut disturbances they, aisa laga jaise...baat kerte use bahut takleef ho rahi thi.....

deepika: kuch to bataya hoga....woh kaha hai???

shaina: i dont know if i heard him right....lekin mahim mein koi godown hai...aisa kuchh.....

neha: and?

shaina: (shook her head) line kat gayi...

neha: oh no!

deepika: neha tum ek kaam karo...tum..

neha: i know...main number race karti hoon....

shaina: main ajay aur boxer se kehti hoon ki mahim ke saare godwons ka pata lagaye....

deepika: right!

shaina: lets get to work!

ajay and boxer began there extensive searh in mahim. meanwhile, neha traced the number, and found out the place...it was somewhere on the eastern outskirts of mahim. after a lot of geography and technical knowledge, the zeroed in on one place.

shaina found it pretty strange....they were not on a case, aryan's disappearance was very wierd, as wierd as his sudden and abrupt phone call...but she didnt care...at least they knew that aryan was alive. they were very close to gettin to him now. she was sure he would be found.

ajay, boxer, neha, shotgun, and deepika for the first time went to the godown in a special squad jeep, followed by loads of back up in police vans. they had wanted to be prepared as they had no clue what kind of enemies they would be dealing with.

they refused to take shaina along. from d past one month, shai was not allowed any field work. she was allowed to analyse and question suspects in the office, but she wasnt allowed to the crime scene or to nab culprits, due to her condition.

she sat in her cabin alone in the ss office, at 3 in the morning. it had been an hour since everyone had left on the aryan search. she was confident they would find him. they had the right place. this had been the simplest case to crack, afetr aryan's phone call. shaina just wished tth it hadnt been the longest!

she sat back in her chair,thinking of the old days, and how it had all started...
